Rituparna Sengupta is Indian actress and producer who is known for her work in Bengali, Odia and Hindi cinema. One of the most successful actresses of Bengali cinema, she rode the crest of her box office success in the late 1990s. Ghulami (transl. Slavery) is a 1985 Indian Hindi-language action drama film directed by J. P. Dutta. The film features an ensemble cast of Dharmendra, Mithun Chakraborty, Mazhar Khan, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Raza Murad, Reena Roy, Smita Patil, Anita Raj, Naseeruddin Shah and Om Shivpuri. Amitabh Bachchan narrated the film.
Jaya Maswood popularly known as Jaya Ahsan, is a Bangladeshi film actress, model, producer and playback singer. Starting her career as a model and, later, as a television actress, she currently works mostly in Bangladeshi and Indian Bengali films. She won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actress six times for her performances in the films Guerrilla (2011), Chorabali (2012), Zero Degree (2015), Debi (2018), Alatchakra (2021), and Beauty Circus (2022). She also earned four Filmfare Awards East, Zee Cine Awards, and Meril-Prothom Alo Awards.
Do Anjaane is a 1976 Hindi-language drama film, produced by Tito, it is directed by Dulal Guha and based on the story Rater gari of Nihar Ranjan Gupta. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Rekha, Prem Chopra, Pradeep Kumar, Utpal Dutt, Lalita Pawar and a young pre-stardom Mithun Chakraborty. The music is by Kalyanji Anandji. It was remade in Telugu as Maavari Manchitanam (1979). The Kannada version Aaseya Bale was released in 1987.

This movie has no relation whatsoever with Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay's famous thriller novel of the same name.

Paoli Dam is an Indian actress who started her career with the Bengali television serial Jibon Niye Khela (2003). She then worked in Bengali television serials such as Tithir Atithi and Sonar Harin; the former ran for six years on ETV Bangla. Dam spent her childhood in Kolkata, earning a postgraduate degree in chemistry from Rajabazar Science College. Initially, she wanted to become a chemical researcher or a pilot. Her debut Bengali film—Teen Yaari Katha, directed by Sudeshna Roy and Abhijit Guha—began in 2004, but was not released until 2012. Dam's first film release was Agnipariksha, directed by Ravi Kinagi. Between 2006 and 2009, she appeared in five Bengali films, coming into prominence with the 2009 Kaalbela, directed by Goutam Ghose.
Nadi Theke Sagare is a 1978 Bengali feature film directed by Arabinda Mukhopadhyay. The film was written by Prasanta Chowdhury. The screenplay was written by Sunil Gangopadhyay and Arabinda Mukhopadhyay. It revolves around a prostitute who struggles to get her daughter married to a decent man. It stars Soumitra Chatterjee, Sandhya Roy, Debashree Roy, Mithun Chakraborty, Chhaya Devi, Rabi Ghosh and Anup Kumar. Debashree Roy was credited as Rumki Roy in the film. The music of the film was composed by Hemanta Mukherjee with lyrics penned by Pulak Bandyopadhyay and Arabinda Mukhopadhyay.

Rawshan Ara Rozina is a Bangladeshi film and television actress. As of 2018, she has performed in over 300 films. She was a prominent actress in the 1980s. She won Bangladesh National Film Awards for the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress for her roles in the films Jibondhara (1988) and Koshai (1980) respectively. She also starred opposite to Mithun Chakraborty in Anyaay Abichar. She was awarded Bangladesh National Film Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2023.

It also stars Soumitra Chatterjee, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Debashree Roy, Satabdi Roy, Haradhan Bandopadhyay, Abhishek Chatterjee, Pallavi Chatterjee, Rituparna Sengupta, Deepankar De, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Sabyasachi Chakrabarty and Kaushik Sen. The music of the film has been composed by Bappi Lahiri.

Mej Didi is a 2003 Bengali film directed by Shantimoy Bandyopadhyay and produced by Samrat Banerjee. The film is based on Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's short story of the same name. The screenplay and dialogue of the film was written by Shaktipada Rajguru. The film endorses altruism. The plot is set in the early twentieth century. It revolves around an orphan teenager who is oppressed by his unkind stepsister and a woman who shelters him. It stars Debashree Roy in the title role.

Khelaghor is an 2020 Indian Bengali language romantic thriller drama television series that premiered on 30 November 2020 on Bengali General Television Entertainment Channel Star Jalsha and it also available on the digital platform Disney+ Hotstar. The show is produced by Snehasish Chakraborty of Blues Productions and stars Swikriti Majumder and Syed Arefin in lead roles. On 8 August 2022, an Odia dubbed version of this show was premiered on Star Kiran. After a successful run of almost two years, the show went off-air on 4 September 2022.
