    Himangshu Dutta was a Bengali music director. Songs composed by him is usually known as "Himangshu Dutta-er Gaan". The Saraswat Samaj of Dhaka awarded him the title 'Surasagar' for his contribution to Bengali music.     Tomake Chai is a 1992 released Bengali song by Kabir Suman from the album Tomake Chai. This song, which used several new form of technology, is the first song of the album, which also happened to be the artist's first solo album. This iconic song was initially directed towards a woman but after few lines got "quickly overshadowed by his [Suman's] love for Calcutta".

    Srikanta Acharya is a Kolkata-based modern Bengali singer-songwriter and music director. Srikanta was born in Kolkata, India and is son of Rohini Nandan Acharya and Kana Acharya. He got formal training in Rabindrasangeet from Dakshinee. He also got trained in tabla from Ustad Ali Ahmed Khan. He quit his job as a sales professional and then Utpal Chakravarty, proprietor of an old music store convinced him to drop in his cassettes at Sagarika Music. He got a call from them within a week and they offered him a contract to sing for them. Srikanta Acharya is now a household name across the world among audiences who listen to Bengali music. Musical life of Srikanta started from the world of Bengal culture. He is an qualitative songs-tan of Bengal music.

    Lutful Ahmed Labu, better known as Labu Rahman, is a Bangladeshi notable musician, singer, songwriter,composer and Guitar teacher. He is one of the senior guitarists in Bangladesh who played guitar as a session musician with many legendary singers of Bangladesh Like : Sabina Yasmin, Andrew Kishwer, Baby Naznen, Sheik Ishtiak, Kumar Biswajit, Saba Tani and many more artists as live and in their albums. . His current band is 'Feedback' which is also one of the old and famous music bands in Bangladesh. Labu Rahman has also many guitar students who are playing guitar in many famed music bands.

    Siddhartha Sankar "Sidhu" Ray is an Indian singer, lyricist, composer, playback writer, and actor from Kolkata, West Bengal. He is a producer of the Bangla Rock genre. Prior to pursuing his career in music, Ray left his dream profession of being a doctor at and formed the band Cactus, of which he is the frontman. The band offered a new genre in the Bengali music scene—a Bengali rock band. Songs like "Holud Paakhi" have become a household name. Ray also hosted quiz shows as a quiz master, presented in a musical game show, and a singer as a soloist in many Bengali films. Since then, he has gone on to compose, write lyrics, and sing for his band. In 2003, he and his band made their debut in Tollywood, composing songs for Nil Nirjane. They won the Mirchi Music Awards Bangla several times.
