Chitra Sen is an Indian actress and dancer who works in Bengali language films and television series. She has worked mainly in theatres, but she has also worked in films and on television. [1] [2] She started her career under Jnyanesh Mukhopadhyay. She has also worked with Rabi Ghosh. In Swapnasandhani , she has worked with her son Kaushik Sen. [1]

Recently he was awarded Girish Purashkar by the Cultural Department of Govt. of West Bengal for his extraordinary contributions in various aspects of theater.

Sourendra Mohan Mukherjee, known as Monu Mukhopadhyay, was an Indian actor who worked in Bengali language films and television serials. In 1958, he became a prompter. His first acting assignment was in the play Khudha, and his first film was Mrinal Sen's 1958 film Neel Akasher Neechey. He had worked with directors like Satyajit Ray and Ronand Joffy. Sujan Mukhopadhyay is an Indian actor who works in Bengali language films, television and theatre. In 2012 he made his directorial debut with the film Ghete Gho. He is an active Member of the renowned Theatre Group Chetana. On 22 February 2016 his directorial debut, in the field of Theatre, Ghashiram Kotwal, which is an adaptation on Marathi play, was premiered. In 2018 he directed Don: Taake Bhalo Laage an adaptation of Dale Wasserman's Don Quixote which was translated into Bengali by Arun Mukhopadhyay many years back. This play marked the re-entry of Suman Mukhopadhyay as an actor after 25 years.

Rita Koiral was an Indian Bengali actress, especially known for her television and film roles. She appeared in several soap opera roles, often as villains and often opposite Monami Ghosh. Directors she worked with included Prabhat Roy, Agnidev Chatterjee and Aparna Sen. She also acted in jatra . Koiral was born in Kolkata, and was still living there at the time of her death. She obtained B.A and M.A. degrees in accountancy from Calcutta University. Later she joined Durdarshan Kendra Calcutta as its newsreader.
