Chandan Sen is an Indian Bengali-language stage, television and film actor, playwright and director. [1]
He started acting in Bengali theatre in 1977. He joined Natya Anan theatre group as a creative director and an actor in 1997. [2] Since then he has acted in numbers of Bengali films. He was a regular face in Star Jalsha's daily soap Ichchenodi. He is also a supporter of the Communist Party of India (Marxist). [3]

He won the Best Actor Award at the Pacific Meridian Film Festival in Russia and NORGS International Independent Festival from Iran for his performance in the 2021 film 'The Cloud and the Man' (Manikbabur Megh) directed by Abhinandan Banerjee. [12] [13] [14]
Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay was an Indian Bengali-language writer. He was actively involved with Bengali cinema as well as Bollywood. The creator of the Bengali detective Byomkesh Bakshi, Sharadindu composed stories of a wide array of varieties including: novels, short stories, crime and detective stories, plays and screenplays. He wrote historical fiction like Kaler Mandira, Gourmollar, Tumi Sandhyar Megh, Tungabhadrar Teere, Chuya-Chandan, Maru O Sangha, Sadashib series and stories of the unnatural with the recurring character Baroda. Besides, he composed many songs and poems.
Arunoday Banerjee, better known as Rahul Banerjee, is an Indian actor works in Bengali language films and television. He made his stage appearance at the age of three with his father's theatre troupe Bijoygarh Atmaprakash play entitled Raj Darshan. Since then, he has acted in almost 450 stage shows, with his father's troupe and with Theatron. He was married to co-actress Priyanka Sarkar.
