Mithun Chakraborty is an Indian actor, producer and politician who predominantly works in Hindi and Bengali cinema. He is a former Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament. He is the recipient of three National Film Awards and Four Filmfare Awards. In January 2024, Chakraborty was awarded Padma Bhushan, the third-highest civilian honour by the Government of India. Raj Chakraborty is an Indian film director, actor, producer and politician. He is one of the most commercially successful film-makers in Tollywood. Before directing his debut film, he was busy in Bengali TV. Raj Chakraborty was associated with Zee Bangla's laughter show Mirakkel, hosted by Mir, and the dance competition Dance Bangla Dance, judged by Mithun Chakraborty, during their initial days. He also directed Star Jalsha's laughter programme I Laugh You. He has been a Member of Legislative Assembly of West Bengal from Barrackpore since 2021.

Sudipta Chakraborty is an Indian film and television actress who mostly works in Bengali cinema. She won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for the film Bariwali. She gained huge recognition for her portrayal as Tista in the long-running Ravi Ojha's Bengali daily soap opera Khela. Chakraborty had participated as contastant in the first season of Bigg Boss Bangla (2013), in which she was the top four finalist. She is also an anchor, talk show host, casting director, and an acting coach.

Rupanjana Mitra is a Bengali film and television actress.

Manali Dey is an Indian television actress. She made her acting debut in the Bengali film Kali Aamar Maa in 1999. Later she made her television debut in the television serial Neer Bhanga Jhor and is very popular for her role as Mouri in Star Jalsha's Bou Kotha Kao.

Stree was a Bengali television soap opera Masala series that premiered on 26 December 2016, and aired on Zee Bangla. It was produced by Snehasish Chakraborty and starred Neha Amandeep and Neel Bhattacharya in lead roles, and Goutam De, Rita Koiral and Dolon Roy in supporting roles. It also starred Moumita Gupta in an antagonistic role. It replaced the popular show Goyenda Ginni. The show telecasted at Monday to Sunday at 7:30 pm. The show went off air on 11 February 2018 and was replaced by Amloki.

Jarowar Jhumko is a Bengali television soap opera that premiered on 22 August 2016, aired on Zee Bangla. It is produced by Snehasish Chakraborty. It stars Shweta Bhattacharya and Subhankar Saha in lead roles. The show was telecasted from Monday to Sunday at 8:00 P.M. The show aired its final episode on 26 November 2017.

Tekka Raja Badsha is a Bengali television comedy drama that premiered on 16 July 2018 and aired on the Bengali television channel Star Jalsha. It streams on the digital platform Hotstar The show stars Yuvraj Chowdhury, Somraj Maity, Soumick Saha, Tonni Laha Roy, Moushumi Priya Debanth and Debachandrima Singha Roy in lead roles. The show is based on the Amitabh Bachchan-Rishi Kappor starrer 1977 film Amar Akbar Anthony which was directed by Manmohan Desai. The show is written by Snehasish Chakroborty known for Khokababu, Jarowar Jhumko, Tumi Robe Nirobe, and Rakhi Bandhan. The show replaced the daily soap opera Sanyashi Raja.

Payel De, also known as Payel Dey, is a Bengali actress. She began her career in 2006 with Zee Bangla's Ekdin Pratidin daily soap and portrayed the character Chandrayee as a supporting role. She is known for her work in television soap opera serials Durga and Behula where she played the title character, both of these aired on Star Jalsha. She started her career while she was studying in college. Afterwards, she starred as Aalo Moitra in the TV serial Bodhu Kon Alo Laaglo Chokhe which aired on Star Jaisha. She has also played lead characters in Maa Durga, Tobu Mone Rekho, Ardhangini, Jaahanara, Durga Durgeshwari, Chuni Panna and currently Desher Maati.

Solanki Roy is an Indian actress who primarily works in Bengali television and web series. She made her Bengali film debut with Baba Baby O (2022) and later appeared in Shohorer Ushnotomo Din E (2023).

Rohaan Bhattacharjee is an Indian actor, who works in Bengali film and television. He is known for his portrayal as Gobindo in the TV serial Bhojo Gobindo, a romance comedy drama show which was aired on Star Jalsha.

Debottam Majumdar is a Bengali television actor. He started his career in acting by performing in Bengali soap opera series Kokhono Megh Kokhono Brishti. He is well known for playing the male lead role of Shona babu as the protagonist in Keya Patar Nouko.
