Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) is a statutory agency which is responsible for development and beautification of Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Odisha. It was established on 1 September 1983. BDA is responsible for creating development plans, regulating development and use of land, undertaking works pertaining to construction of housing colonies, commercial complexes and providing public amenities like water supply, drainage, sewerage, and transportation, social facilities etc. Apart from the main city, Bhubaneswar, BDA covers 556 revenue villages covering an area of about 1110 km2.

The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) of Bangalore, India, is a governmental organization and the principal planning authority for Bangalore. Its function, under the Karnataka Town and Country Planning Act of 1961, is as a regulatory body required "to prepare in the prescribed manner a Comprehensive Development Plan" for the Bangalore Metropolitan Region. It also oversees planning and development of infrastructure, provision of development-related sites and services, the housing needs of underprivileged citizens in Bangalore and is currently the city's largest land developer. No other authority or person may undertake development within the Bangalore Metropolitan Region without the permission of the BDA.

Badagada Government High School, Bhubaneswar, is a high school in the capital city of Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The school was started in 1963 by the Government of Odisha. It is considered as one of the oldest government schools in the city of Bhubaneswar along with Capital High School, Bhubaneswar, which was established a decade before it. In 2013, Badagada Government High School, Bhubaneswar celebrated its Golden Jubilee. The school is located at the corner of old village called Badagada and a new housing complex built by Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA).

Arekere Lake is situated in the Arekere - Hulimavu area of the city of Bangalore. Originally spread over an area of approximately 37 acres, the lake is bounded on the west by Bannerghatta Road, on the north by BDA Eighty Feet Road, on the east by Shantinikethan Layout and on the south by Hulimavu Main Road. According to the BBMP website, the perimeter of the lake is about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi). It was possibly a manmade water reservoir created approximately 100 years ago.

The Inter-state bus terminal (ISBT) is a hi-tech bus stand currently being built by The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) over 15.5 acres of land near Baramunda at a cost of Rs 180 crore. It was expected to be completed by June this year. The bus depot at Khandagiri is also part of the project, having a capacity of 300 parking spaces.
