Ranee Narah is an Indian politician from Assam and a member of the Indian National Congress. She represented Assam as a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha from 2016 to 2022. She also represented Lakhimpur in the Lok Sabha from 1998 to 2004,and again from 2009 to 2014. Narah served as the Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs in the Government of India from 2012 to 2014. Lokanath Misra was an Indian politician. He was a member of the Rajya Sabha. He was the Governor of Assam from 1991 to 1997 and held additional charge as Governor of Nagaland from 1992 to 1993.
