Bidadari Yang Terluka (English: "Rage of Angel") is a 1997 Indonesian romantic fantasy television series directed by Christ Helweldery from a screenplay by Eddy D. Iskandar. The series stars Ria Irawan, Donny Damara, Bella Saphira, Dian Nitami and Nafa Urbach in their respective lead roles.

Starvision officially announced in early 1997, that Ria Irawan was preparing to shoot the then-upcoming series in Jakarta, Batam and Singapore for release in June. In April 1997, the company revealed the official title for the series, Bidadari Yang Terluka. Two months later, a release date was officially announced.

Synopsis

Novia is a motherish, patient girl who did wrong with her mother, Laksmini, and her father, Koswara. Her mother-in-law, Herawati, hated her when Erdin initially married Miranda. Hariman later decided to marry Erdin with Novia in a family relationship with Laksmini. Later, Hariman reported that Herawati murdered Novia, and then he abruptly drove his car at high speed until it collided and died. She was later hospitalized with her new face and identity, Mayang, following Ricky's proposal.

In early 1997, after the success of Harkat Wanita, Starvision announced that Ria Irawan was preparing to shoot the then-upcoming series in Jakarta, Batam and Singapore for release in June. On June 2, 1997, Starvision officially revealed the series' airdate, which was premiered four days later. [2] [3] During the promotion, producer Chand Parwez said Bidadari Yang Terluka shared similarites with Return to Eden starring Rebecca Gilling. [4]

Music

Indonesian musician Dwiki Dharmawan composed the orchestral score. [5] The title theme "Bidadari Yang Terluka" written by Eddy D. Iskandar, with Dharmawan participating in production and composition, and performed by the latter's wife, Ita Purnamasari. [6]

"Dengan Menyebut Nama Allah" is a song recorded, composed and arranged by Indonesian musician, songwriter and record producer Dwiki Dharmawan. It was released in March 1993, as the lead single of Dharmawan's special album of the same name, through Musica Studios as its distributor. Written by Ags. Arya Dipayana and features vocals performed by singer and actress Novia Kolopaking, it is primarily an Islamic-influenced pop song with keyboards and choir-like vocals, while the lyrics hint towards themselves do many ways to feel good.

Agung Setiadji, better known by his stage name Ags. Arya Dipayana, was an Indonesian poet, dramatist and writer. He was known for writing "Dengan Menyebut Nama Allah", composed by Dwiki Dharmawan.

"Melangkah Di Atas Awan" is a song recorded by Indonesian singer-songwriter and actor Ronnie Sianturi of Libels, who portrayed Indra and Yudi. A snippet of the song was first made available in the Indosiar musical television series of the same name on September 11, 1997, before officially released as a single of his compilation album of the same name in 1998 through Musica Studios as the song's distributor. It marked Sianturi's first solo single in three years, since the 1994's "Sudikah Kamu". The song was primarily composed, arranged and produced by Dwiki Dharmawan, with its lyrics penned by Eddy D. Iskandar.
