Big Daddy Weave is an American contemporary Christian band from Mobile, Alabama. Formed in 1998, [1] the band is composed of Mike Weaver, Joe Shirk, Jeremy Redmon, Brian Beihl, and Raul Alfonso. Since 2021, they have been signed to Curb Records. [2]
The band was formed in 1998 at the University of Mobile in Alabama. [1] Mike Weaver served as worship leader of a Pensacola, Florida church and attended a community college in the area. [3] He came to the university at the urging of his pastor, and studied voice. [3]
In 2006 and 2007, Big Daddy Weave toured with Mark Schultz on his Broken and Beautiful Tour. In 2009, they headlined the What Life Would Be Like Tour with guest musician Josh Wilson.
On June 25, 2019, band frontman Mike Weaver announced that he would be releasing his autobiographical book, I Am Redeemed, on September 3, 2019. [4]
Bassist Jay Weaver died from COVID-19 on January 2, 2022, at the age of 42. [5]
Big Daddy Weave released the single "Let It Begin" on March 15, 2024, off of an upcoming studio album. The band is currently on the spring leg of their Heaven Changes Everything tour, accompanied by Hannah Kerr and Austin French. [6]

The Beautiful Letdown is the fourth studio album by alternative rock band Switchfoot, released on February 25, 2003, by RED Ink Records, and later re-released through Sony Music. It marked the band's first release on a major label and their first release with keyboardist Jerome Fontamillas. The album was produced by band member Jeremy Redmon. The album has charted on Billboard 200 and Christian Albums charts at Nos. 68 and 8, respectively. The song that was released as the lead single from the album was "Love Come to Life," which peaked at No. 6 on the Christian Songs chart, and the second song was "Redeemed," reached No. 1, becoming their second song to achieve the feat.
Unspoken is an American Christian band. The band is composed of Chad Mattson, Jon Lowry, Ariel Munoz, and Matthew Callaway. The band released their debut single, "Who You Are", on the Centricity Music label. In 1998, after winning a contest sponsored by the Gospel Music Association, Nordeman was signed to Star Song Communications and Sparrow Records and began to work on her debut studio album, Wide Eyed. The album was released in September 1998 and entered the Billboard Christian Albums and Billboard Heatseekers Albums charts at number 16 and 29, respectively, both of which marked her chart debut.
