The 1904 Summer Olympics were an international multi-sport event held in St. Louis, Missouri, United States, from 1 July to 23 November 1904. Many events were conducted at what is now known as Francis Field on the campus of Washington University in St. Louis. This was the first time that the Olympic Games were held outside Europe.

Søren Marinus Jensen was a Danish sport wrestler who competed in the 1906 Intercalated Games and the 1908 and 1912 Summer Olympics. Ali Abdo is a male freestyle wrestler from Australia. He participated in the 2000, 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympics. In Beijing in 2008, he competed in the Men's freestyle 74 kg and was eliminated in the round of 32 losing to Ahmet Gülhan from Turkey.
Danira Bilić is a retired Croatian basketball player. As part of the Yugoslavian women's team, she won a silver medal at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. She was European basketball's Most Valuable Player three times running, in 1988, 1989 and 1990. In 1991, she was awarded Croatia's highest national recognition for sports, the Franjo Bučar State Award for Sport.
