PT Pertamina (Persero) is an Indonesian state-owned oil and natural gas corporation based in Jakarta. It was created in August 1968 by the merger of Pertamin (established 1961) and Permina (established in 1957). In 2020, the firm was the third-largest crude oil producer in Indonesia behind US-based companies ExxonMobil's Mobil Cepu Ltd and Chevron Pacific Indonesia. According to the 2020 Fortune Global 500 list, of which the company is included, Pertamina is the largest company in Indonesia.
Jio-bp, or legally Reliance BP Mobility Limited, formally known as Reliance Petroleum is an Indian petroleum company that specializes in oil and energy, owned by Mukesh Ambani of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), one of India's largest private sector companies. The Gujarat Refinery is an oil refinery located at Koyali, Vadodara District in Gujarat, Western India. It is the third largest refinery owned by Indian Oil Corporation after Paradip and Panipat Refinery. The refinery is currently under projected expansion to 18 million tonnes per year.
The Jamnagar Refinery is a private sector crude oil refinery owned by Reliance Industries in Jamnagar, Gujarat, India. The refinery was commissioned on 14 July 1999 with an installed capacity of 668,000 barrels per day (106,200 m3/d). Its current installed capacity is 1,240,000 barrels per day (197,000 m3/d). It is currently the largest refinery in the world.

Kochi Refinery Limited (KRL) is a crude oil refinery in the city of Kochi in Kerala, India. It is the largest public sector refinery in India with a production capacity of 15.5 million tonnes per year. Formerly known as Cochin Refineries Limited and later renamed as Kochi Refineries Limited, it was acquired by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited in the year 2006. The refinery is situated at Ambalamugal, around 12 km (7.5 mi) east of the city centre.

Established in 1988, the refinery is located at Katipalla, north from the centre of Mangalore. Paradip Refinery is an oil refinery set up by Indian Oil Corporation in Paradip city in the state of Odisha. The installed capacity of this refinery is 15 million tonnes per year. This refinery is spread over approximately 3,345 acres of land and is situated approximately 5 km southwest from the Paradip Port.

It owns and operates Bina Refinery, located at Bina in the Sagar of the state of Madhya Pradesh in India. The company was incorporated as a joint venture between Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) and Oman Oil Company Ltd. Since 2021, it is a wholly owned subsidiary of BPCL. The Bina Refinery was commissioned in 11 May 2011 with an annual capacity of 6 million tonnes. The capacity of the refinery was further enhanced to 7.8 million tonnes per year in 2018.

As of 31 March 2021, Indian Oil's employee strength is 31,648, out of which 17,762 are executives and 13,876 non-executives, while 2,776 are women, comprising 8.77% of the total workforce.

Barmer Refinery is an upcoming public sector refinery and petrochemical complex in the Pachpadra near Balotra in Barmer district of Rajasthan, India. It is owned by HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited(HRRL), a joint venture between Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited and the Government of Rajasthan.This refinery will be connected with Jamnagar Refinery and Bathinda Refinery through Amritsar Jamnagar Expressway.
The Hambantota Refinery is an oil refinery to be developed in Mirijjawila, Hambantota, in the Southern Province of Sri Lanka. The 585-acre (237 ha) refinery will be built and owned by Singapore's Silver Park International (Private) Limited (70%) and Oman's Ministry of Oil and Gas (30%). Silver Park International is an investment vehicle owned by India's Accord Group. It will have a refining capacity of 200,000 barrels (32,000 m3) per stream day, ten times the capacity of the Sapugaskanda Refinery, the country's only other refinery which was built in 1969 by Iran.
