The West Bengal Legislative Assembly is the unicameral legislature of the Indian state of West Bengal. It is located in the B. B. D. Bagh area of Kolkata,the capital of the state. Members of the Legislative assembly are directly elected by the people. The legislative assembly comprises 294 Members of Legislative Assembly,all directly elected from single-seat constituencies. Its term is five years,unless sooner dissolved.

Sunil Singh is an Indian politician and a member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly from Noapara in West Bengal,a seat which he won in February 2018 as an All India Trinamool Congress candidate. Suman Kanjilal is an Indian politician from the Trinamool Congress. In May 2021,he was elected as the member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly from Alipurduar as BJP candidate. On 5 February 2023,he joined All India Trinamool Congress.

Bachchu Hansda is an Indian politician from Tapan in West Bengal. He served as the Minister of State for North Bengal Development in the Government of West Bengal from 2016 to 2021. Hansda was elected twice to the West Bengal Legislative Assembly from the Tapan constituency,in 2011 and 2016.
Abhijit Sinha,also known as Rana,is an Indian politician from West Bengal. He is a member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly from Labpur Assembly constituency in Birbhum district. He won the 2021 West Bengal Legislative Assembly election representing the All India Trinamool Congress.
