Nightwish is a Finnish symphonic metal band from Kitee. The band was formed in 1996 by lead songwriter and keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen, guitarist Emppu Vuorinen, and former lead singer Tarja Turunen. The band soon picked up drummer Jukka Nevalainen, and then bassist Sami Vänskä after the release of their debut album, Angels Fall First (1997). In 2001, Vänskä was replaced by Marko Hietala, who also took over the male vocalist role previously filled by Holopainen or guest singers.

Tomi Petteri Putaansuu, best known by his stage names Mr Lordi or Mr L, is a Finnish musician, businessman, special effect make-up artist, songwriter, painter, comics artist and graphic designer. He is best known as the lead vocalist of heavy metal/hard rock band Lordi. In the band he is responsible for songwriting and creating all the masks, costumes, graphics and stage props.

For the single release, Lordi produced a new version which contains softer vocals which would ultimately replace the original on the special edition of The Arockalypse. The song charted at number 2 in Finland.
Dark Floors – The Lordi Motion Picture is a 2008 English-language Finnish horror film that features members of the hard rock band Lordi playing the monsters. Band frontman Mr Lordi also designed the film's logo. The film was released in February 2008 and stars William Hope, Leon Herbert, Philip Bretherton, Ronald Pickup, and Skye Bennett. A new Lordi song, Beast Loose in Paradise, is featured in the end credits of the film.
Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood is the third studio album by Danish rock band Volbeat, released on 1 September 2008. It reached the #1 position on both the Danish and Finnish album charts, staying on the former for 35 consecutive weeks, while also briefly reappearing on it in 2014. The album also charted highly in several other countries. Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood is the follow-up to Rock the Rebel/Metal the Devil, which achieved platinum status in Denmark, and cemented Volbeat's popularity in Denmark as well as increasing their popularity in nearby countries considerably.
Deadache is the fourth studio album by Finnish hard rock band Lordi, released in Finland on 29 October 2008. For the release of the album the band renewed their monster outfits. Deadache was released during the same week in about thirty countries. The official album release party was held at the Tavastia Club in Helsinki on 31 October 2008 (Hallowe'en).
Babez for Breakfast is the fifth studio album by Finnish hard rock band Lordi, released on 10 September 2010. As is traditional for the band, their costumes were renewed for the release of this album. The album was produced by Michael Wagener. It was the final album to feature both Kita and Awa before their departure from the band.

Recordead Live – Sextourcism in Z7 is the third DVD by Finnish heavy metal band Lordi. The show was recorded on 23 November 2018 at Z7 Konzertfabrik in Pratteln, Switzerland, during the band's tour in support of their ninth studio album, Sexorcism. It was released on 26 July 2019. The set also included a two disc live album CD version of the concert.
Killection is the tenth studio album by the Finnish hard rock band Lordi. It was released on 31 January 2020, via AFM Records. The band stated that the album is considered a 'fictional compilation' and would contain songs you would normally hear in the early 1970s to mid-1990s.
Lordiversity is a box set by the Finnish hard rock band Lordi. The box set contains their eleventh to seventeenth studio albums: Skelectric Dinosaur, Superflytrap, The Masterbeast from the Moon, Abusement Park, Humanimals, Abracadaver and Spooky Sextravaganza Spectacular. It is a follow-up to the band's previous release Killection. It is the final release to feature founding member and guitarist Amen.
