Depeche Mode are an English electronic music band formed in Basildon, Essex in 1980. Originally formed by the lineup of Dave Gahan, Martin Gore, Andy Fletcher and Vince Clarke, the band currently consists of Gahan and Gore.
The Rasmus is a Finnish rock band that formed in 1994 in Helsinki while the band members were in upper comprehensive school. The original band members were Lauri Ylönen, Eero Heinonen (bass), Pauli Rantasalmi (guitar) and Jarno Lahti (drums). Jarno Lahti left the year after and was replaced by Janne Heiskanen in 1995. Heiskanen quit the band in 1999 and was soon replaced by Aki Hakala. Pauli Rantasalmi left the band and was replaced by guitarist Emilia "Emppu" Suhonen in 2022. Best known for their 2003 hit single "In the Shadows", the band has sold over 5 million albums worldwide and 350,000 albums in Finland alone, and has won numerous awards, both domestic and international. The band represented Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with the song "Jezebel".
Lauri Johannes Ylönen is a Finnish singer-songwriter, best known as the co-founder and frontman of the Finnish alternative rock band The Rasmus.
The Singles 86>98 is a greatest hits album by English electronic music band Depeche Mode, released on 28 September 1998 by Mute Records. It serves as a follow-up to the band's previous compilation, The Singles 81→85, which was also reissued in the same year. The compilation covers the band's seven-inch single releases spanning five studio albums, while including the new song "Only When I Lose Myself". It also includes "Little 15" and the live version of "Everything Counts", which was released as a single in 1989. All tracks on The Singles 86>98 were newly remastered, as was the case with the re-release of The Singles 81→85.

Maija Johanna Vilkkumaa is a Finnish pop rock singer-songwriter. Beginning her musical hobbies playing piano at an age before school, Vilkkumaa studied in high school where she and her friends set up the band Tarharyhmä in 1990, which broke up in 1995. While studying Finnish language at the University of Helsinki, she started to take singing lessons and went on to start her solo career in 1999.

It is the first album without original vocalist Tarja Turunen, who was dismissed in 2005, as well as the first album involving future member Troy Donockley on uilleann pipes and tin whistle. Tuomas Holopainen has referred to this album as the "album that saved his life".

Kinetik Control is a Finnish rock band formed in 2004 by the composer and lyricist Sauli Vuoti. The band's sound used to incorporate electronic elements to rock and pop music, but nowadays the music is more pop oriented. Kinetik Control has released eight singles, one EP and three albums. Kinetik Control's most known songs are "The Mutt", "No-One Knows About Us", "Give A Little Love", "All Fours" and "Chinese Medicine", which featured Michael Monroe as a guest musician.

It was released on 14 November 2014 by Mute Records and Columbia Records. It was filmed on location at the O2 World in Berlin on 25 and 27 November 2013 during the band's Delta Machine Tour.
Spirits in the Forest – A Depeche Mode Film is a live concert film, documentary, and album by the English electronic music band Depeche Mode, directed by award-winning filmmaker and long-time artistic collaborator Anton Corbijn. The film chronicles the final concert of the band's Global Spirit Tour at the Waldbühne in Berlin, Germany, as well as the stories of six fans of the band. The film was released to cinemas worldwide on 21 November 2019. A DVD & Blu-ray featuring the full concert titled LiVE SPiRiTS was released on 26 June 2020.
"Jezebel" is a song by Finnish rock band The Rasmus, released as a single on 18 January 2022. It was co-written and produced by lead singer Lauri Ylönen and Desmond Child. The song represented Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, held in Turin, Italy, in May 2022, opening the second semi-final on 12 May. It won the 2022 edition of Finland's annual Eurovision song selection competition, Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu, on 26 February 2022 with a total of 310 points. The single reached number four in Finland.
Rise is the tenth album by the Finnish rock band The Rasmus, released on 23 September 2022. It is their first album after five years of inactivity, as a continuation of their previous album Dark Matters (2017).
