Blender is a Swedish dansband, founded in March 2002 by Lasse Lundberg. Soon, the band became a full-time dansband and since then has played all over Sweden.

Contents

In 2007 they won the Guldklaven award in the "Album of the Year" and they have also got several other awards.

In 2009 the single "Ingen ingenting" was qualified to Sveriges Radio P4's so called B rotation list, which guaranteed it a lot of airplay over the radio each week. On 12 December 2009 the band participated with The Playtones, Titanix, Casanovas and Bhonus in the last of the qualification sets in Dansbandskampen and performed two songs: "Dag efter dag" and "Hold Me Now". Then they also played in the final, [1] but did not win the contest.

In 2011 the band scored a success with the album Ingen utan mig , reaching fourth position at Sverigetopplistan. [2]

Long Gone Before Daylight is the fifth studio album by Swedish rock band The Cardigans. Released in Japan on 19 March 2003 and in Europe from 24 March by Stockholm Records, it was their first studio album since the release of Gran Turismo in 1998, during which time band members released numerous solo works under assumed aliases: Peter Svensson issued Paus' sole, self-titled album in 1998. This was followed by the release of the self-titled record from Nina Persson's A Camp in 2001, and bassist Magnus Sveningsson's I Sing Because of You in 2002.

Grammis Award

The Grammis are music awards presented annually to musicians and songwriters in Sweden. The oldest Swedish music awards, they were instituted as a local equivalent of the Grammy Awards given in the United States. The awards ceremony is generally held each year in February in Stockholm. The awards were established in 1969 and awarded until 1972 when they were cancelled, then revived in 1987.

Lasse Stefanz

Lasse Stefanz, earlier Lasse Stefans, is a country music-inspired dansband, formed in 1967 in Kristianstad, Sweden. The band was popular during the 1980s. The band was formed by Hans Sigfridsson, Lars Sigfridsson and Olle Jönsson. Later members are Christer Ericsson, Anders Pettersson and Gunnar Nilsson. Olle Jönsson is the singer, as well as the ex-drummer. Lasse Stefanz had hits with songs as "Oh, Julie" (1982) and released albums as Peppelinos Bar (1988). 1989-1990, Lasse Stefanz and Christina Lindberg had a Svensktoppen hit with the song "De sista ljuva åren". In 1989, Lasse Stefanz was awarded a Grammis for "Dansband of the year".

Molly Sandén Swedish singer and voice actress

Molly My Marianne Sandén, also known by her middle name My Marianne, is a Swedish pop singer and voice actress. As a teenager, she represented Sweden in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 and participated in Melodifestivalen in 2009, 2012, and 2016. Her sisters Frida and Mimmi are also singers. In 2018, Sandén released her third studio album, Större. Her fourth studio album was released in early 2019, called Det bästa kanske inte hänt än.

<i>Box 1991–2008</i> 2008 Compilation album by Kent

Box 1991–2008 is a summary of the Swedish rock group Kent's career. The Box contains almost everything the group has ever recorded between 1991 and 2008. It contains every B-side, many demo recordings and every studio album. It also contains the first official live recording the group has ever made of a concert, a live recording of a new, previously unreleased song called "Håll ditt huvud högt" made during a concert in the band's hometown of Eskilstuna in July 2008.

Fernandoz is a Swedish dansband formed in 1986 in Vitsand, near Torsby. They had a big hit in 1991 entitled with the song "Jag vet att jag vill ha dig". The band won the "svenska dansbandsmästare" award in 1993 and they started appearing on the popular television program Bingolotto, for a number of times. Their most recognized hits include "Guld och gröna skogar", "En dag den sommaren", "När ett hjärta har älskat" Band guitarist Conny Ohlson and singer Anders Nordlund have won a Swedish Grammy "Guldklaven" for their work.

Thorleifs was a Swedish dansband, formed in 1962 in Norrhult, Kronoberg County, Sweden and led by Thorleif Torstensson. The band that sings in Swedish and many other languages, also released albums in German. It also took part in Melodifestivalen 2009 with the song "Sweet Kissin' in the Moonlight" but did not proceed into the finals.

Titanix

Titanix is a dansband, established in 1979 in Valdemarsvik, Sweden. The band appeared at the finals of the Swedish dansband championships in 1997 and 2001, before finishing up at the second place during Dansbandskampen 2009. During their 2009 Dansbandskampen appearance, it was mentioned that the band was not named after the boat RMS Titanic that sank in 1912, but rather an ice hockey stick.

Grönwalls is a dansband from Hässleholm in Sweden. The band won the Swedish dansband championships in Sunne in August 1992. Famous hit songs include Du ringde från Flen from 1993 and Ett liv tillsammans, written by Calle Kindbom and Peo Pettersson, topping Svensktoppen in 1995, as well as Regn i mitt hjärta from 1996.

Sannex

Sannex is a dansband from Sweden. The band was formed as a school project in 1977. In the mid-1980s, it was a six-man band, which invested in a professional career. In 1987, Sannex became the backing band for Ann-Louise Hanson, and in November 1987 became a full-time dance band, after working with Ann-Louise for five weeks at Restaurant Cabaret in Stockholm. They participated in Dansbandskampen in 2009.

Jenny Saléns

Jenny Saléns, established in May 2003, is a dansband from Sweden, scoring successes at the Swedish album chart. Saxophonist Niklas Adamsson won the "Wind musician of the Year" award at the 2007 Guldklaven awards. Later in 2007, Niklas Adamsson was appointed "Cultural Award Winner of the Year " in Hylte Municipality. On 5 January 2008, the live album "Vår egen bröllopsdag", with 15 songs recorded during a dancing event at Mälarsalen in Stockholm in November 2007. The band participated at Dansbandskampen 2008.

Highlights is a dansband from Sweden, established in 2004 by Andreas Wistrand, who had participated at Fame Factory, together with Henrik Sethsson.

Perikles is a Swedish dansband that was established in 1974. Its biggest chart singles are "Var ska vi sova i natt?", a cover version of "Sarà perché ti amo". The band has released many albums that include its own songs and cover versions. Perikles took part in Melodifestivalen 1994 with the song "Vill du resa till månen med mig?" in a bid to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 1994.

Trouble Boys is a 2013 studio album by the Swedish dansband Lasse Stefanz. It was released on 19 June 2013, and topped the Sverigetopplistan, the official Swedish Albums Chart on 28 June 2013.

Leif Bloms was a dansband in Växjö in Sweden. scoring chart successes at the Swedish album chart during the mid-late 1970s. On 31 December 1995 the band was disbanded after singing and playing together for almost 40 years. Starting with the 1981 album Håll dig kvar, the band's singer was Mona Gustafsson, who wrote the band's 1992 song "Dej ska jag älska all min tid" which won the 1992 Hänt song contest in Älvsjö. After the band was disbanded, Mona Gustafsson, Patrik Ahlm and René Saulesco founded another dansband, Mona G:s orkester.

Helene & gänget was a dansband in Kristianstad in Sweden, founded 1990 by members of the Färmarna dansband. The band broke through in 1995 with the album Segla din båt i hamn. The band broke up in 2002 and its singer Helene Persson begun acting as SR Kristianstad programme host. Famous songs recorded by the band are Segla din båt i hamn, En korg med blommor and Nånstans så finns du.

Carina Jaarneks orkester was a dansband in the town of Ronneby, Sweden, scoring chart successes at Svensktoppen between the late 1980s and the early 2000s, with Carina Jaarnek acting as the band's singer. It was started in 1989. In 1991, the band won the first, unofficial, edition of the Swedish Dansband Championships contest. In the year 2000, the band participated in the finals of the Dansbandslåten contest with the song Minns du hur vi älskade which, however, didn't win the contest.

Thor Görans was a dansband in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, established 1976 and disestablished following the final gig in Lycksele, Sweden 8 April 2006.
