Blepharomastix crusalis is a species of moth in the family Crambidae. It was described by Herbert Druce in 1895. It is found in Veracruz, Mexico. [1]
The wingspan is about 25 mm. The forewings and hindwings are pale fawn. The forewings edged with brown along the costal margin. There is a spot in the cell and there are three dark brown bands crossing the wing. The hindwings are crossed by two brown bands, the marginal line is spotted with brown. [2]
The double square-spot is a moth of the family Noctuidae. It is distributed through most of Europe except Portugal, the Mediterranean islands and northernmost Fennoscandia. In the East, the species ranges East across the Palearctic to Siberia and in the South-East to the Black Sea and in Iran. It rises to a height of about 2,000 metres (6,600 ft) in the Alps.
