Uwe Boll is a German filmmaker. He came to prominence during the 2000s for his adaptations of popular video game franchises. Released theatrically, the films were critical and commercial failures; his 2005 Alone in the Dark adaptation is considered by many critics to be one of the worst films ever made. Boll's films during the 2010s, comprising mostly original projects and independent movies, received home media releases to better reviews. BloodRayne 2: Deliverance is a 2007 direct-to-DVD Western horror film, set in 1880s America, and directed by Uwe Boll. The film is a sequel to the 2005 film BloodRayne, which was also directed by Uwe Boll, and stars Kristanna Loken. In Deliverance, Natassia Malthe replaces Loken in the lead role.
Underworld is an American action horror film series created by Kevin Grevioux, Len Wiseman, and Danny McBride. It follows characters who are caught up in a war between vampires and werewolves. Most of the films star Kate Beckinsale as Selene. The first film, Underworld (2003), introduces Selene, an elite vampire-warrior who defies her orders, and Michael Corvin, a human who gets caught up in the war. The second film, Underworld: Evolution (2006), follows Selene and Michael as they are hunted by their enemies. The third film, Underworld: Rise of the Lycans (2009), is the prequel to the series, chronicling the origins of the vampire-lycan war. The fourth film, Underworld: Awakening (2012), is the sequel to Underworld: Evolution. In this film, humans have discovered the existence of vampires and lycans, and are trying to eradicate both species. A final film, titled Underworld: Blood Wars (2016), focuses on Selene who tries to stop a new war between vampires and lycans.
BloodRayne: The Third Reich is a 2011 direct-to-DVD vampire action film written by Michael Nachoff and directed by Uwe Boll, and starring Natassia Malthe as dhamphir Agent Rayne and Michael Paré as vampire Nazi officer Ekart Brand. Set in 1943 Europe during World War II, it is the third and final installment of the BloodRayne film trilogy, based on the video game series of the same name. It is a sequel to BloodRayne and BloodRayne 2: Deliverance, also directed by Boll. It is the second BloodRayne film to star Malthe after BloodRayne 2: Deliverance. Paré, who played Iancu in BloodRayne and Pat Garrett in BloodRayne 2: Deliverance, plays yet another character in this film. BloodRayne: The Third Reich received negative reviews.

In English she is voiced by Laura Bailey in BloodRayne and BloodRayne 2 and Jessie Seely in BloodRayne: Betrayal; in Japanese she is voiced by Romi Park in BloodRayne. She was portrayed by Kristanna Loken in the first live action film, and by Natassia Malthe for its sequels.
