Robert Lymburne (born 30 July 1909, date of death unknown) was a Canadian ski jumper. [1]
Bob Lymburne was born 30 July 1909 in Fort William, Ontario. He moved to Revelstoke, British Columbia, as a child where he received his first pair of skis at age thirteen. [2]
Lymburne competed in the individual event at the 1932 Winter Olympics. [3] In 1935, he suffered a severe head injury while ski jumping. At some point after 1957, he wandered into the woods and was not seen again. [4]

Andorra sent a delegation to compete in the 2010 Winter Olympics held in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, from 12 to 28 February 2010. Andorra has never won an Olympic medal, despite appearing at every Winter and Summer Games since 1976. The Andorran delegation to these Olympics consisted of six athletes, four in alpine skiing, one in cross-country skiing, and one in snowboarding, the last being Lluís Marin Tarroch, the first snowboarder to represent Andorra at the Olympics. He placed 34th in his only event, and failed to advance to the quarterfinals as a result. Francesc Soulié, the first Andorran cross-country skier to compete at the Games, made his second Olympics appearance, achieving a 47th place finish in the best of his three events. The four alpine skiers that competed recorded six DNFs in their thirteen combined events, though Mireia Gutiérrez recorded a team-high 24th-place result in her best event.
Nels Nelsen Hill is an abandoned ski jumping hill located in Mount Revelstoke National Park near the city of Revelstoke, British Columbia, Canada. The original hill, Big Hill, was built in 1916 and was the first permanent ski jump in Canada. By 1933, three world length records had been set on the Big Hill. It fell out of use in 1939, with Revelstoke instead using the Big Bend Ski Jump.
Nels Nelsen, born Nils Johan Nilsen and sometimes referred to as Nels Nelson, was a Norwegian-born Canadian ski jumper active between 1916 and 1932. Later he was ski jumping organizer. He was among the world's best ski jumpers during the 1920s, and held the world record of 73 meters from 1925 to 1930. He was born in Salangen Municipality in Troms county, Norway. He moved with his family to Revelstoke, British Columbia, in 1912. Credited with bringing the sport of ski jumping to Canada, he made his debut on the nearby Big Hill in 1915. He competed throughout Canada and the United States, and became Canadian champion five times. Despite holding the world record at the time, he was not allowed to participate in the 1928 Winter Olympics because the officials did not find it suitable for him to have to work his way to Switzerland.

Isabel Patricia "Pat" Coursier was a Canadian ski jumper and multi-sport athlete known for being the first North American to break the record for women’s ski jumping. She was viewed as the sport’s first female world champion from 1922 until her final jump in 1929. Her initial world record was set at 26 metres during her debut at Mount Revelstoke National Park’s Big Hill in February 1922, and was held until 1926. Her second world record was set at 31 metres in 1928, also at the Big Hill, and was held until 1931. She was one of four ski jumpers to set world records at the hill, joined by Henry Hall and fellow Revelstoke residents Nels Nelsen and Bob Lymburne.
