Body Faucet is the debut studio album by Georgia-based alternative band Reptar, released on May 1, 2012.
Body Faucet received mixed reviews from music critics. At Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, the album received an aggregated score of 51/100, which indicates "mixed or average reviews", based on 12 reviews. In a positive review, Chrysta Cherrie of Allmusic wrote that "Reptar aren't just fluffy fun; beneath their shimmering synths and hard-driving beats are stories of identity and relationships, forming connections not only on the dancefloor but in the heart." [2] Alex Young at Consequence of Sound felt that the band's live performances were not captured with the same energy on the album: "While Body Faucet should be a warm and joyous album, it’s rather dry and airless instead." [3]
"Body Faucet's laudably disrespectful hijack of the last decade’s most revered sounds (think Vampire Weekend if they weren't so pleased with themselves) is both sublime and ridiculous – often at the same time," wrote Edward Thomas of NME . [5] Rebecca Nicholson of The Guardian gave the record one star, opining that, "It's not so much that the songs lack shape, it's that this suggests Reptar lack conviction – every song borrows from something else, something vaguely similar but different enough to make this an incoherent mess, albeit one with oddball pretensions." [4] Ian Cohen of Pitchfork Media panned the album, deriding the band as "accessible to way more information than they can fully process, desperate for attention, and prone to the most public of embarrassments." [7]
Ryan Reed of Paste felt it better than the group's debut EP: "Body Faucet is an improvement over Oblangle in nearly every respect, but it’s definitely not as surprising as that lovely little EP [...] That being said, what they lose in unpredictability they gain in consistency and muscle." [6] of PopMatters felt the opposite: "Although Body Faucet is certainly entertaining throughout, it isn’t hard to imagine that the band spent more time naming the record and some of its songs [...] than attempting to perfect the many pop hooks found on the group’s 2011 debut EP, Oblangle Fizz Y’all, which, even after several listens of Body Faucet, will stand up as the stronger release." [8]

"The Reeling" was released as the album's lead single on May 11, 2009, and its music video was premiered on YouTube on April 21, 2009. A second single, "To Kingdom Come", was released in August 2009, followed by "Little Secrets" in December 2009. "Sleepyhead" was originally included on Passion Pit's first EP, Chunk of Change (2008), but was mastered for inclusion on Manners. As of December 2009, the album had sold 82,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Romance Is Boring is the third studio album by indie pop band Los Campesinos!. It was recorded in multiple locations in the United States and Wales and was produced by John Goodmanson. It was released on 26 January 2010 in the United States and on 1 February in the United Kingdom. It features guest appearances from Jamie Stewart of Xiu Xiu, Zac Pennington of Parenthetical Girls, and Jherek Bischoff of The Dead Science. The album was described by frontman Gareth as being about "the death and decay of the human body, sex, lost love, mental breakdown, football and, ultimately, that there probably isn’t a light at the end of the tunnel". It is the band's final release to feature vocalist and keyboardist Aleksandra Campesinos!, who amicably left the band in August 2009, after the album had been recorded.

Across Six Leap Years is the tenth studio album by British alternative band Tindersticks, released on 14 October 2013. The album consists of ten previously released songs from the band's and singer Stuart Staples' solo back catalogue, which were re-recorded at Abbey Road Studios. The album marked the band's first release in two years, following the Melody Calling EP, and their first full studio album release in three, following Come of Age in 2012. Young stated that Fridmann was chosen due to both his track record in making "consistently fantastic records". It is the last album recorded with drummer Pete Robertson, who left the band after completing their 2016 U.S. tour.
