Bogafjell is a borough of the city of Sandnes in the west part of the large municipality of Sandnes in Rogaland county, Norway. The borough lies south of the city centre, surrounding the Bogafjell mountain. The borough has a population (2016) of 7,080. [1] The borough was created in 2011 when it was split off from the borough of Austrått. The area is a relatively new area that has become built up in the since the turn of the century. There are two schools in the borough as well as Bogafjell Church.

Sandnes Sentrum Station

Sandnes Sentrum Station is a railway station in the city of Sandnes which lies in the western part of Sandnes Municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The station is located in the downtown, harbour area of the city of Sandnes. The station is served by regional trains to Kristiansand and Stavanger along the Sørlandet Line and by local trains on the Jæren Commuter Rail network from Stavanger Station to Egersund Station. This station is located 14.78 kilometres (9.18 mi) south of Stavanger Station. The station has a waiting room, ticket machines, and food kiosks, but few other services.

Stokka is a neighborhood in the borough of Lura in the northwestern corner of the city of Sandnes which lies in the far western edge of the large Sandnes municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. Stokka is bordered on the south by the borough of Malmheim og Soma, to the east by the urban part of the borough of Lura, to the north by Forus in the neighboring city of Stavanger, and to the west by Sola municipality. Large parts of the area are industrialised, with the area north of the road Løwenstrasse used as the headquarters of Forus Næringspark. The European route E39 highway runs along the east side of Stokka.

Høle (municipality) Former municipality in Rogaland, Norway

Høle or Høgsfjord is a former municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The large municipality existed from 1865 until 1965. It was called Høgsfjord from 1865 until 1871 when the municipality was reduced in size and the name was changed to Høle. The municipality originally was quite large, surrounding both sides of the Høgsfjorden and Lysefjorden. Throughout its history, it included large parts of the present-day municipalities of Sandnes and Gjesdal. Since 1965, the area of Høle has been the borough of Høle in Sandnes municipality. Høle Church was the main church of the municipality.

Bogafjell Church is a parish church of the Church of Norway in the western part of the large Sandnes municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the borough of Bogafjell, just south of the centre of the city of Sandnes. It is the church for the Bogafjell parish which is part of the Sandnes prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Stavanger. The gray, concrete church was built in a rectangular design in 2012 using designs by the architect Grete Gudmestad Krogedal from the company Rambøll Arkitektur. The 2,500-square-metre (27,000 sq ft) church seats about 400 people. The church was consecrated on 4 March 2012.
