Tamale is the capital city of the Northern Region of Ghana. It is Ghana's third largest city, with a population of 950,000. The city has been ranked as the fastest-growing city in West Africa. It is located 600 km (370 mi) north of Accra.
Sekondi-Takoradi is a city in Ghana comprising the twin cities of Sekondi and Takoradi. It is the capital of Sekondi – Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly and the Western Region of Ghana. Sekondi-Takoradi is the region's and largest Fante city as well as an industrial and commercial center, with a population of 2,060,585 people (2021). The chief industries in Sekondi-Takoradi are timber, cocoa processing, plywood, shipbuilding, its harbour and railway repair, and recently, sweet crude oil and crude oil. The fundamental job in Sekondi-Takoradi is fishing. Sekondi-Takoradi lies on the main railway lines to Kumasi.
Bolgatanga, colloquially known as Bolga, is a town and the capital of the Bolgatanga Municipality and Upper East Region of Ghana, adjacent to the border with Burkina Faso. Bolgatanga has over 2012 settlements and a population of about 66,685 people. Bolgatanga is 161 km to the north of Tamale. Bolgatanga lies in the Red Volta River Valley, with the White Volta River and the cliffs of the Gambaga Escarpment to the south of the town forming the southern boundary of the Upper East Region.

Bongo District is one of the fifteen districts in Upper East Region, Ghana. Originally created as an ordinary district assembly in 1988; which was established by Legislative Instrument (L.I.) 1446. The municipality is located in the central part of Upper East Region and has Bongo as its capital town.
Presbyterian Boys' Secondary School (PRESEC) is a secondary boarding school for boys. It is located in Legon, Accra, Ghana. It was founded in 1938, under the auspices of the Presbyterian Church of the Gold Coast. The Basel missionary-theologian, Nicholas Timothy Clerk (1862–1961), who served as the first Synod Clerk of the Presbyterian Church of the Gold Coast from 1918 to 1932, used his tenure to advocate for the establishment of the secondary school. The Bolgatanga Technical UniversityBTU, is a public tertiary institution in the Upper East Region of Ghana, West Africa. It is gradually increasing its courses and facilities following the achievement of university status. It was converted into a Technical University during the administration of the former president of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama. The institution was established in 1999 but started rolling out its academic programs in September 2003 as Bolgatanga Polytechnic.
