Atanu Ghosh Ghosh is a National-Award-winning Indian filmmaker, screenwriter, author and teacher. His Bengali film Mayurakshi (2017) was awarded the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Bengali. His film Shesh Pata, Angshumaner Chhobi, Mayurakshi, Binisutoy, Abby Sen and Rupkatha Noy, bagged multiple awards.Atanu started his career as a scriptwriter and director for documentary films in 1996. For his work in Aar Ek Bampi, he received the Doordarshan National Award for Best Children's Telefilm.
Mirakkel is an Indian reality show on Zee Bangla hosted by Mir Afsar Ali and directed by Subhankar Chattopadhyay. It is produced by Subhankar Chattopadhyay Productions. The show features stand-up comedians who are judged by Paran Bandyopadhyay, Sreelekha Mitra and Rajatava Dutta. He is widely considered for his work in Rainbow Jelly, a food fantasy film for the children in Bengali Cinema. His film Bhootpori starring Jaya Ahsan, was an official selection for Indian Panorama at International Film Festival of India, Goa which also received the Best Screenplay award at 14 Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival in 2024.
Bhobishyoter Bhoot is a 2019 Indian Bengali-language satirical comedy film directed by Anik Dutta. The film was released on 15 February 2019. Despite its similar topics, Dutta states that it is not a sequel to his film, Bhooter Bhabishyat (2012). All single and multiple screen theaters were stopped from showing the film immediately after release citing "orders from upper management". Various leading newspapers quoted unnamed sources, as well as Dutta, saying that the West Bengal police had issued these instructions to the theatres.

The Award Show was aired on 24 and 30 April 2022 on Zee Bangla and Zee Bangla Cinema respectively. The show was hosted by Abir Chatterjee, Sohini Sarkar and Anirban Bhattacharya.
