Boudh (Sl. No.: 86) is a Vidhan Sabha constituency of Boudh district, Odisha. [1]
The Odisha Legislative Assembly is the unicameral state legislature of Odisha state in India. The seat of the Legislative Assembly is at Bhubaneshwar, the capital of the state. The Legislative Assembly comprises 147 Members of Legislative Assembly.. It was announced by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik that the Sachivalaya or the Secretariat building in Bhubneswar will be called Lok Seva Bhavan.
Boudh District is an administrative and a municipal district, one of the thirty in the Odisha, India. The district headquarters of the Boudh District is the city of Boudh.
Area of this constituency include Boudh, 11 GPs (Telibandha, Khuntabandha, Mursundhi, Badhigam, Mundapada, Baghiapada, Brahmanipali, Ambajhari, Tikarapada, Padmanapur and Laxmiprasad) of Boudh block and Harbhanga block. [2] [3]

The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is a state political party of the Indian state of Odisha led by Naveen Patnaik, the current Chief Minister of Odisha and the son of former Chief minister Biju Patnaik, after whom the party was named. It was founded on 26 December 1997.
Janata Dal was an Indian political party which was formed through the merger of Janata Party factions, the Lok Dal, Indian National Congress (Jagjivan), and the Jan Morcha united on 11 October 1988 on the birth anniversary of Jayaprakash Narayan under the leadership of V. P. Singh.
