Breaffy GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Breaffy in County Mayo, Ireland.
The club was founded in 1953.
John Francis O'Shea is an Irish professional football coach and former player. He was known for his versatility in playing several defensive and midfield positions on either side of the pitch or the centre. O'Shea spent the majority of his playing career at Manchester United, where he won five Premier League titles, one FA Cup, two Football League Cups, four FA Community Shields, the FIFA Club World Cup and the UEFA Champions League. With 14 winners' medals, he is one of the most decorated Irish footballers of all time; only Denis Irwin, Roy Keane, Steve Heighway and Ronnie Whelan have accrued more honours. He is the current interim manager of the Republic of Ireland national football team.

DIT GAA or Dublin Institute of Technology GAA was a Gaelic Athletic Association university club in Dublin Institute of Technology County Dublin, Ireland. DIT's men's Gaelic football team competed in the Sigerson Cup and the O'Byrne Cup. DIT won its first Sigerson Cup in 2013, defeating UCC in the final by 3-08 to 0-08. The DIT team was managed by Sean Fox, Billy O'Loughlin and Des Newton. Team captain in 2013 was All-Star defender Colin Walshe of Doohamlet in County Monaghan. The team included Aidan O'Shea, Jason Doherty, Darran O'Sullivan, Mark Collins, Tomás O'Connor, Bryan Menton, Kevin O'Brien and a number of intercounty players from several counties.

As of September 2016, there are approximately 45 teachers and 600 students attending the school. The original school was opened in 1908. The current school was opened in 1971. Aidan O'Shea is an Irish Gaelic footballer from Glenbeigh-Glencar in County Kerry. He is a PE Teacher and Geography teacher at Mercy Mounthawk, Tralee, 6’3" (195 cm) tall and weighs 14 stone (89 kg). He is the son of Kerry legend Jack O'Shea.

Seamie was man-of-the-match in the 2013 Connacht Senior Football Championship final against London. He was nominated for an All-Star in 2013. O'Shea came on as a substitute in the 2012 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Final, which Mayo lost by 0-13 to 2-11 against Donegal. In the 2013 All-Ireland final, he started at midfield as Mayo lost by a point to Dublin.

Mid Kerry GAA is a Gaelic football and Hurling division in County Kerry, Ireland. This division is situated in the middle region of the county, and includes towns such as Killorglin and Milltown. It is one of ten divisions of Kerry County Board. It organizes competitions for the clubs within the division, from Under 12 up to the adult level. The winners of these competitions compete against other divisional champions to determine which club is the county champion. In addition, the division selects football teams from the adult teams playing at intermediate or junior level, and these then compete for the Kerry Senior Football Championship.
