Breathe Out, Breathe In is the fifth studio album by English rock band The Zombies, released on 9 May 2011.

The Zombies English rock band

The Zombies are an English rock band formed in 1962 in St Albans and led by keyboardist and vocalist Rod Argent and vocalist Colin Blunstone.

The band recorded a music video for the album's song "Any Other Way", their first music video since the band's original formation in 1961. [1] Two of the songs on the album are remakes of earlier recordings by the band Argent. "Christmas for the Free" was originally released in 1973 on the album In Deep . "Shine on Sunshine" was originally released in 1975 on the album Circus .

Argent was an English rock band founded in 1969 by keyboardist Rod Argent, formerly of The Zombies. They were best known for their songs "Hold Your Head Up" and "God Gave Rock and Roll to You".

In Deep is the fourth studio album by Argent, originally released by Epic Records in 1973. It features the original full-length recording of "God Gave Rock and Roll to You", which reached No. 18 in the UK charts when released in edited form as a single later the same year. It was later remade by Kiss as "God Gave Rock 'n' Roll to You II" for the film Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey in 1991.

Colin Blunstone British singer-songwriter

Colin Edward Michael Blunstone is an English singer, songwriter and musician. In a career spanning more than 50 years, Blunstone came to prominence in the mid 1960s as the lead singer of the English rock band the Zombies, which released four singles that entered the Top 75 charts in the United States during the 1960s, including "She's Not There", "Tell Her No", "She's Coming Home", and "Time of the Season". Blunstone began his solo career in 1969, releasing three singles under a pseudonym of Neil MacArthur. Since then, he has released ten studio albums and one live album under his real name. His solo hits include "She's Not There", "Say You Don't Mind", "I Don't Believe in Miracles", "How Could We Dare to Be Wrong", "What Becomes of the Brokenhearted", and "The Tracks of My Tears". Blunstone will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of The Zombies in 2019.

Jim Rodford British musician

James Walter Rodford was an English musician, who played bass guitar for several British rock bands. He was a founding member of Argent, which was led by his cousin Rod Argent, and performed with them from their formation in 1969 until they disbanded in 1976. He was the bass guitarist for the Kinks from 1978 until they disbanded in 1996. In 2004, he joined the reunited Zombies, whom he had been closely associated with since the early 1960s, and remained a member until his death in 2018. He was also a member of the Swinging Blue Jeans and the Kast Off Kinks.
