Brenda Nabukenya (born 19 April 1984) is a Ugandan politician and legislator. She represents the people of Luwero district as district woman representative for Luwero district in the parliament of Uganda. She subscribes to the National Unity Platform party on whose ticket she was voted into parliament in the 2021 Uganda general elections. National Unity platform is headed by Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi wine. [1] [2]
Nabukenya was previously a member of the Democratic party (DP) on whose ticket she won the guild presidency of Kyambogo University in 2005 and Member of parliament seat for Luwero district in between 2011 and 2016. [1] [3] [4] [5]
Prior to her election as the first female guild president of Kyambogo University, Nabukenya worked at a university bookstore in Kyambogo University.
At Kyambogo she pursued a bachelor's degree of science in nutrition and dietetics. [3]
She later pursued a bachelor's degree in Law at Makerere University. [3]
In 2020, She challenged Nobert Mao, Democratic part's president general to the DP party presidency. [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] [11]
In the 2021 Uganda general elections, Nabukenya won the election with 76,801 votes beating her closest rival, National Resistance Movement's Mulondo Cissy who garnered 40,353 votes. [2]
Nabukenya is currently the shadow minister for education and sports in the opposition government. [12]
She is also the vice chairperson on the Uganda Women Parliamentary Association (UWOPA). [13] [14]

Jesca Ababiku is a Ugandan educator and politician. She is currently a member of the eleventh Parliament of Uganda, representing the people of Adjumani district in one of the parliamentary seats reserved for women. She is a member of the National Resistance Movement and the Chairperson of the Presidential Affairs (NRM), the ruling political party in Uganda under the chairmanship of Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa, the current president of the Republic of Uganda. In the 2021 Uganda general elections, Ababiku retained her seat democratically for the third time as women member of parliament for Adjumani district since 2011.

She is an independent member of parliament, she entered parliament after defeating former minister for karamoja affairs and National Resistance Movement member Barbara Nekesa Oundo who is currently serving as ambassador to south Africa. She lost to Hellen Auma Wandera in the 2021-2026 Parliamentary Elections.
Pamela Nasiyo Kamugo is a Ugandan social worker and legislator. As of April 2020, she has served as the elected woman member of parliament for Budaka district in the tenth Parliament of Uganda and eleventh Parliament of Uganda. She is affiliated with the National Resistance Movement, the ruling party of Uganda led by Yoweri Museveni, the country's president
Aisha Sekindi is a Ugandan educator and legislator. As of February 2022, she serves as Uganda's Minister of State for Water and the woman representative for Kalungu district in Uganda's eleventh parliament. She replaced Hon. Ronald Kibuule who handed over the office in July 2021. She held the same position in Uganda's tenth parliament. Politically, she is affiliated to the National Resistance Movement under whose ticket she contested in the 2016 general election, achieving victory over Aisha Naluyati Waligo of the Democratic Party Uganda (DP).
The National Unity Platform, formerly the National Unity, Reconciliation and Development Party (NURP), is a political party in Uganda led by Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu The NURP was led by Moses Nkonge Kibalama from December 2004 until July 2020. On 14 July 2020, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu assumed leadership of the party and was declared the party flag-bearer for the January 2021 Ugandan presidential elections.

She was the winner of Masaka city mayoral seat after defeating seven candidates including business tycoon, Emmanuel Lwasa with 28,824 votes.
