The British International School Hanoi, commonly referred to as BIS Hanoi, [1] is an international school in the Vinhomes Riverside neighbourhood of Hanoi, Vietnam. [2] It is also a part of the Nord Anglia Education group and is one of four British International schools in Vietnam. [3] The school provides a British-style education for children aged two to eighteen.
The Early Years Foundation Stage and primary school curriculum are based on the National Curriculum for England and the International Primary Curriculum. [4] Students prepare for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education during their 10th and 11th years. Despite this, years 12 and 13, curriculum switch to the IB Diploma Programme. It is a registered centre for the UK Cambridge Assessment International Education examination board. [6]

Trần Đại Quang was a Vietnamese politician and former police general who served as the ninth president of Vietnam from 2016 until his death in 2018. After serving for five years as the Minister of Public Security from 2011 to 2016, Quang was nominated by his predecessor Trương Tấn Sang to the presidency and was elected to the post by the National Assembly of Vietnam on 2 April 2016.
