Buali Sina University, also written Bu-Ali Sina University (Persian : دانشگاه بوعلی سينا, Danushgah-e Bu'li Sina), or simply BASU, is a public university in the city of Hamedan in the Hamedan province of Iran. The university was established with the assistance of France in February 1973. Bu-Ali Sina University ranked in the fifth place of Iranian national universities (QS 2023) [1] The university's programs include Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Agricultural Engineering.
The first steps for founding Bu-Ali Sina University were taken after a treaty between the governments of Iran and France in Esfand 1351 (February 1973). The University was established in 1353 (1975).
Bu-Ali Sina University has five faculties, one higher education complex, and two junior schools. Faculties include Agriculture, Art and Architecture, Engineering, Literature and Humanities, Science, Malayer Junior Faculty of Education, and Junior School of Veterinary Medicine.
It has 439 full-time faculty members. It has more than 10,000 students who are studying in 319 education programs at B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. levels. Bu-Ali Sina University has 32 departments.

Chiba University is a national university in the city of Chiba, Japan. It offers Doctoral degrees in education as part of a coalition with Tokyo Gakugei University, Saitama University, and Yokohama National University. The university was formed in 1949 from existing educational institutions in Chiba Prefecture, and over a period of years absorbed Chiba Medical University (1923–1960), a preparatory department of the Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Chiba Normal School (1872–1951), Tokyo Polytechnic High School (1914–1951), Chiba Horticultural High School, among others. Chiba University was reincorporated in 2010 under the National University Corporation Act. Chiba University has been ranked 168th on the Asia University Rankings 2019 Top 100 by "The Times Higher Education". Its abbreviated form is Chibadai (千葉大).
Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) (Persian: دانشگاه علم و صنعت ایران, Daneshgah-e 'elm vâ Sân'at-e Iran) is a research institution and university of engineering and science in Iran. The university is home to 15 faculties offering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in a wide range of engineering-based subjects as well as maths, physics, and department of foreign languages. In 1995 IUST awarded Iran’s first PhDs in materials, metallurgical and traffic engineering. IUST is the only university in the Middle East which has a school of railway engineering and a school of progress engineering. It is also the only university in Iran which has a school of automotive engineering. There are also 12 research centres, nine centres of excellence and 19 specialised libraries as well as four satellite campuses in other parts of the country. IUST is located on Hengam Street in the Narmak neighborhood in northeast Tehran.
