Bukhara District (Uzbek : Buxoro tumani) is a district of Bukhara Region in Uzbekistan. The capital lies at the city Galaosiyo. [1] Its population is 172,200 (2021). [2]
The district consists of 1 city (Galaosiyo), 6 urban-type settlements (Dexcha, Podshoyi, Rabotak, Oʻrta Novmetan, Xumini bolo, Arabxona) and 14 rural communities. [1]
Bukhara is the fifth-largest city in Uzbekistan, with a population of 280,187 as of 1 January 2020, and the capital of Bukhara Region.
Batken Region is a region (oblus) of Kyrgyzstan. Its capital is Batken. It is bounded on the east by Osh Region, on the south, west and north by Tajikistan, and on the northeast by Uzbekistan.
