Buster's Happy Hour is the third album from Buster Poindexter, the alter ego of singer David Johansen. [5]

Contents

Like his previous album Buster Goes Berserk , it features his backing band The Banshees of Blue, and features covers of rhythm and blues songs of the 1940s and 1950s. The cover of the album is a painting by David Johansen himself.

Kate Taylor is the second studio album by singer Kate Taylor, released May 4, 1978. The album included Taylor's sole chart single: her version of "It's in His Kiss ", recorded in August 1977 to peak at number 49 that autumn; the Kate Taylor album also introduced the singer's remakes of "A Fool in Love", "It's Growin'" and "Stubborn Kind of Woman" ; the track "It's Growin'" was issued as a single in July 1978. They have been recording albums since 1976 and are closely associated with Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band. They have recorded or performed several Springsteen songs, including "The Fever" (1973) and "Fade Away" (1980). Springsteen has also performed with the band on several occasions. In 1991, Springsteen and the E Street band appeared on Southside Johnny's Better Days album.
