The 2021 Shaman King anime series is based on the manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Hiroyuki Takei. At Otakon 2015, former Madhouse president and then MAPPA president, Masao Maruyama, expressed his desire to work on a reboot of Shaman King. In February 2017, while answering a fan's question, Takei revealed on his official Twitter that he received an offer for an anime reboot of Shaman King, but he turned the offer down because he was told that the new anime would not be able to use the first anime's voice actors and soundtrack music, although Takei hoped for another chance in the future. In June 2020, a new anime television series was announced that would adapt the 35 volumes of the new complete manga edition.

Manatsu Murakami is a Japanese voice actress and singer from Kanagawa Prefecture who is affiliated with Arise Project. She is known for her roles as Yuzuha Kujō in CUE! and Komichi Akebi in Akebi's Sailor Uniform. She is also a member of the idol group Dialogue+.

<i>Salarymans Club</i> Japanese anime television series

Salaryman's Club, also known as Ryman's Club, is an upcoming original Japanese anime television series animated by Liden Films, directed by Aimi Yamauchi and written by Yamauchi and Teruko Utsumi. Original character designs are provided by Suzuhito Yasuda, while Majiro adapts the designs for animation. The music is composed by fox capture plan. The series is set to premiere on TV Asahi's NUMAnimation block on January 30, 2022. The opening theme song is "The Warrior" by Novelbright, while the ending theme song is "Nisen Gohyaku Man no Ichi" by Mafumafu. Crunchyroll has licensed the series outside of Asia. Medialink licensed the series in Southeast Asia.
