The 2019 anime series Fruits Basket is the second anime based on the manga series of the same name by Natsuki Takaya, this time adapting all 23 volumes of the story. The new anime adaptation was announced in November 2018, featuring a new cast and staff, as per Takaya's request, with TMS Entertainment handling the 63 episodes-long productions from April 2019 to June 2021, divided into three seasons. Yoshihide Ibata directed the series, with Taku Kishimoto handling the series composition and Masaru Shindou handling character designs. The reboot is a co-production of Funimation, who released the series through the Crunchyroll-Funimation partnership.

Sasaki and Miyano is a Japanese manga series by Shō Harusono, serialized online via pixiv Comic website since 2016. It has been collected in ten tankōbon volumes by Media Factory. A two-volume novel adaptation by Kotoko Hachijō was published by Media Factory from October 2018 to March 2020. A spin-off manga by Harusono titled Hirano and Kagiura has been serialized in Media Factory's shōnen manga magazine Monthly Comic Gene since March 2019 and has been collected in two tankōbon volumes. Sasaki and Miyano follows the story of two male high school students as their friendship gradually becomes romantic.

<i>My Hero Academia</i> season 5 Season of television series

The fifth season of the My Hero Academia anime television series was produced by Bones and directed by Kenji Nagasaki and Masahiro Mukai, following the story of Kōhei Horikoshi's original manga series of the same name from the 21st volume through the end of the 26th volume. It covers the final parts of "Pro Hero" arc, "Joint Training", "Meta Liberation Army" which temporarily shifts the title of the series to My Villain Academia, "Endeavor Agency", and the origin of "Paranormal Liberation War" arc. Like the previous three, the season ran in two consecutive cours and aired from March 27 to September 25, 2021, on ytv and NTV.

An anime film also by Polygon Pictures titled Bloody Escape: Jigoku no Tōsō Geki premiered in January 2024.
