Calab Law (born 31 December 2003) is an Australian sprinter. He is an indigenous athlete and a member of the Wakka Wakka people. In 2024, he became Australian national champion over 200 metres. [1]
Law was selected for the Australian team for the 2022 World Athletics Championships – Men's 200 metres and in doing so became the fifth youngest male ever selected for the championships. At the event he ran a new personal best of 20.50 s to progress into the semi-finals to become the first Australian teenager ever to qualify for a World or Olympic semi-final. [2] [3] The following month, he ran a new personal best of 20.42 s in a semi-final of the 200 metres at the 2022 World Athletics U20 Championships in Cali, Colombia. He finished third in the final in 20.48 s to obtain a bronze medal. [4]
In November 2023, he won gold at the 2023 Pacific Games over 100m and 200m in Honiara. [5]
In April 2024, he won the Australian Athletics Championships title over 200 metres, winning in Adelaide in 20.54 seconds. [6] He ran as part of the Australian 4x100m relay team which qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics at the 2024 World Relays Championships in Nassau, Bahamas. [7] He competed in the 200m at the 2024 Paris Olympics. [8]

Aaron Brown is a Canadian sprinter who specializes in the 100 and 200 metres. As part of Canada's 4×100 m relay team, he is the 2024 Olympic gold medalist, 2020 Olympic silver medalist, 2016 Olympic bronze medalist and the 2022 World champion. Zharnel Hughes is an Anguilla-born British sprinter who specialises in the 100 metres and 200 metres. Born and raised in the British Overseas Territory of Anguilla, he has competed internationally for Great Britain in the Olympic Games, World Athletics and European Athletics events, and for England at the Commonwealth Games, since 2015. A double Commonwealth Games, double European Championships gold medalist as part of the 4 x 100 metres relay, Hughes has twice been European champion individually; over 100 metres in 2018, and 200 metres in 2022. In 2023, he broke both British sprint records, before winning his first global individual medal, a bronze in the 100 metres at the 2023 World championships.
Andre De Grasse is a Canadian sprinter. A seven-time Olympic medallist, De Grasse is the 2020 Olympic champion in the 200 m, and also won the silver in the 200 m in 2016. He won a second silver in the 4×100 relay in 2020. He also has three Olympic bronze medals, placing third in the 100 m at both the 2016 and 2020 Games, and also in the 4×100 m relay in 2016. De Grasse won his second Olympic gold medal as a part of the 4×100 m relay team at the 2024 Summer Olympics. The win tied him with swimmer Penny Oleksiak as Canada's most decorated Olympians of all time.
Brendon Rodney is a Canadian sprinter. As a member of the Canadian men's relay team, he is a three-time Olympic medallist in the 4 × 100 metres relay, taking gold in 2024, silver in 2020 and bronze in 2016. He is also the 2022 World champion and 2015 World bronze medallist in the same event.
Nethaneel Joseph Mitchell-Blake is a British sprinter who specialises in the 200 metres and the 4 x 100 metre relay. He was the 2013 European Junior Champion and his personal best of 19.95 seconds ranks him as the second-fastest in Britain of all-time in the individual event. He is only the second Briton, after Adam Gemili to break both 10 seconds for 100 metres and 20 seconds for 200 metres.
