Calgary Christian School (CCS) is an alternative program in the Palliser School division, delivering faith-based education to more than 750 students from preschool to Grade 12. CCS is located in the southwest corner of Calgary, Alberta, and is a member of the Palliser Regional Division No. 26.
CCS began teaching in 1963 and had its first graduating class from Grade 12 in 1978. The Calgary Society for Christian Education works in partnership with Palliser to deliver educational programming.
The College of Creative Studies (CCS) is the smallest of the three undergraduate colleges at the University of California, Santa Barbara, unique within the University of California system in terms of structure and philosophy. Its small size, student privileges, and grading system are designed to encourage self-motivated students with strong interests in a field to accomplish original work as undergraduates. A former student has called it a “graduate school for undergraduates”. The college has roughly 350 students in nine majors and approximately 60 professors and lecturers. There is an additional application process to the standard UC Santa Barbara admission for prospective CCS students, and CCS accepts applications for admissions throughout the year.

One Palliser Square is connected to the Calgary Tower via the Tower Centre complex. Accessed from the main floor, this complex is home to a variety of businesses including two theatre companies—Vertigo Mystery Theatre's Playhouse and Studio stages and Lunchbox Theatre—Tower Physio and Calgary's theatre hangout, The Auburn Saloon. As of 2005, the building was owned and operated by Aspen Properties.
Clear Water Academy is a private university preparatory school managed by the Legion of Christ which is located in Calgary, Alberta. It is one of the few private Catholic schools in Alberta, and is dedicated to its four pillars for Catholic formation: Intellectual Formation, Character Formation, Apostolic Formation, and Spiritual Formation. Clear Water runs from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade Twelve, with Grades 4 through 9 being gender separated for all classes.
