Feeder are a British rock band formed in Newport in 1994. They have released 11 studio albums, 12 compilations, four EPs and 43 singles, spending a combined total of 184 weeks on the singles and albums charts as of 2019, while accumulating 25 top 75 singles between 1997 and 2012. At their peak of commercial success, Feeder won two Kerrang! Awards in 2001 and 2003; they were inducted into their Hall of Fame in August 2019 for “Distinguished Services to Rock”.
(Miss)understood is the seventh studio album by Japanese singer-songwriter Ayumi Hamasaki, released January 1, 2006 by Avex Trax. Hamasaki acted as the album's sole lyricist, as she had on all of her preceding albums. (Miss)understood marked new musical directions for Hamasaki: she explored new influences such as funk and used gospel choruses in some of the songs, foreign to her previous works. This was the result of her having heard compositions by Geo from Sweetbox and asking him for his works; subsequently, Hamasaki rewrote the lyrics to fit (Miss)understood. Lyrically, the album was a departure from her previous work, My Story, which had been primarily autobiographical.
Best: Second Session is the second greatest hits album released by Japanese R&B-turned-pop singer Koda Kumi. It was released in March 2006 and contained all of her singles used in her 12 Singles Collection. It charted at number 1 on the Oricon charts, making it her second album to reach the spot, and stayed on the charts for 78 weeks.
"I Bruise Easily" is a song by British recording artist Natasha Bedingfield. The pop ballad was written by Andrew Frampton, Wayne Wilkins, and Paul Herman along with Bedingield for her debut album, Unwritten (2004). Production on the track was handled by Frampton and Wilkins. In the song, Bedingfield describes how relationships affect people, even when they have come to an end.
Nylon is a Greek album by singer Anna Vissi, released in Greece and Cyprus on September 28, 2005, and subsequently in select European countries and Taiwan. The album was released as a DualDisc on October 10, 2005, the first of its kind in Greece, and re-released on May 2, 2006 with the title Nylon: Euro-Edition as a tie-in to Vissi's participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006. The album reached Platinum status in less than 24 hours after its release.
Yume no Uta/futari de...(夢のうた/ふたりで... / Dream Song/us two...) is singer-songwriter Koda Kumi's 33rd single under the Rhythm Zone label, and is her second attempt at a double a-side. The single charted at No. 1 on Oricon and stayed on the charts for sixteen weeks, out-selling her previous single, 4 Hot Wave. This made her first No. 1 single since feel. The single came in CD and CD+DVD and both a-sides have their unique cover art.
"Schrei" and "Scream" are rock songs by German alternative rock band Tokio Hotel. The German version of the song, "Schrei", was released as the second single from the band's debut album Schrei and is also the album's opening track. An English version of the song called "Scream" was later included in their first English album Scream and released as their fourth English single in 2007.
"Q.I" is a 2005 song recorded by French singer-songwriter Mylène Farmer. It was the second single from her sixth studio album, Avant que l'ombre..., and was released on 4 July 2005. Like all other tracks from the album, the lyrics were written by Farmer and the music was composed by Laurent Boutonnat. The primary meaning of the song is the attraction to one's partner's intelligence, but the lyrics are ambiguous enough to allow a more sexual interpretation. The accompanying music video was filmed by Benoît Lestang in Budapest and starred Rafael Amargo and Farmer, performing soft erotic scenes in a bedroom; however, the video was not well received. Variously received by the media, the song became a top ten hit in France and Belgium (Wallonia).
"Can't Stop the Disco" is a song recorded by Japanese recording artist Ami Suzuki for her seventh studio album, Supreme Show (2008). It was written and produced by Japanese producer and Capsule member Yasutaka Nakata. The track is Suzuki's third single with Nakata after her June 2008 single "One". "Can't Stop the Disco" premiered on September 24, 2008 as the second single from the album.
"You're My Star" is a pop rock song by Welsh rock band Stereophonics from their greatest hits album, Decade in the Sun: Best of Stereophonics. It was released as the lead-single on 27 October 2008 with "Forever" as the B-side. It was produced by lead-singer and guitarist Kelly Jones along with Jim Lowe while written by the singer. The song was written in a day and is a personal one to Jones, though he would not say what the song is really about, instead leaving it to listeners to make up their own theory. One critic stated that the song is written about his daughters, but this has not been confirmed to be true. The single went on to become the band's first to miss the top 100 of the UK Singles Chart and received a negative critic review.
"Si j'avais au moins..." is a song recorded by French singer Mylène Farmer. This pop rock ballad was written by Farmer with music composed by Laurent Boutonnat. It was the third single released, from her seventh studio album Point de suture (2008), on 16 February 2009. Directed by Bruno Aveillan, the accompanying music video is the continuation of Farmer's previous single "Dégénération" and is the last part of a short film called The Farmer Project, broadcast in January 2009. In the video, the singer portrays a supernatural character who saves animals from testing and heals them. Although a survey showed that a minority of the voters wanted the song as the third single, "Si j'avais au moins..." received positive reviews and achieved some success on the French Singles Chart, debuting at number-one. Farmer performed the song on television during the NRJ Music Awards show on 17 January 2009 and on the 2009 Mylène Farmer en tournée tour.
"Can We Go Back" is a song written by Adam Watts, Andy Dodd and Shanna Crooks and recorded by Kelly Clarkson during the sessions for her 2009 album, All I Ever Wanted. It appears in certain countries as an iTunes Store exclusive song on the deluxe version of the album, as well as a bonus track on the Japanese version of the album. It was then later recorded in Japanese by singer Kumi Koda in 2009 with differing lyrics.
"Moon/Blossom" is Japanese singer Ayumi Hamasaki's forty-eighth single, released on July 14, 2010. The first song on the single "Moon" is used to promote Honda's Zest Spark Kei car while the second song "Blossom" is used to promote Zespri kiwifruit.
"Renegades" is a song by Feeder, released as the group's second single from their seventh album Renegades in 2010. The track started off life as a recording released under their Renegades side-project, with its release being on their first EP before then being included on the Feeder Renegades album. This single is also the only one to be released from Renegades that features any new material, with this being the B-side "Sending Out Waves". "Fallen", the B-side on "Call Out" started off life as a free download for anybody who purchased the second Renegades EP.
"Down to the River / This Town" are two songs on a double A-sided single by Feeder, released as the group's third and final single from their seventh album Renegades in 2010, while being their 31st single overall and their third double A-sided single after the 2008 release of "Tracing Lines / Silent Cry". Both tracks like the majority of the Renegades album, started off life as tracks first performed live under their Renegades side-project name, but were both only released commercially as Feeder tracks.
Love Songs is the twelfth studio album by Japanese singer-songwriter Ayumi Hamasaki. The album was released on December 22, 2010, through Avex Trax, eight months after her eleventh studio album Rock 'n' Roll Circus. A stylistic return to the aesthetic of her albums before Secret, Love Songs contains pop songs with lyrics primarily revolving around love, many of them ballads.
"No Reflection" is a song by American rock band Marilyn Manson. The track serves as the lead single from the band's eighth studio album, Born Villain. It was released in digital format on March 13, 2012 through Cooking Vinyl and Hell, etc., over a month ahead of the album. The single was released in physical format on April 21, 2012 as a limited-edition white vinyl, available only in the UK and Europe in celebration of Record Store Day. A music video directed by Lukas Ettlin was released to promote the single and it also features Roxane Mesquida. The music video premiered on April 4, 2012 on Marilyn Manson's VEVO channel. Always Will Be is a song by the Swedish Power and Heavy metal band HammerFall, the second single from their album Renegade. It was released as a card sleeve CD single on 27 November 2000. The single has two songs "Always Will Be" and "The Fallen One" and the last two tracks are found on the limited Digi-pack CD single. Both these releases were only sold in Sweden and through the Nuclear Blast mailorder.
W Face is a two-part studio album release by Japanese recording artist Koda Kumi. The albums were packaged separately under the sub-titles Inside and Outside, and distributed on March 8, 2017 by Rhythm Zone and through digital retails stores by Avex Music Creative Inc. Production on both collections started in early-2016 when she finished her concert tour for Walk of My Life (2015), and launched the campaign with the promotional recording "Shhh!". Furthermore, the singer returns as the album's primary and only songwriter while collaborating with a variety of foreign and international composers and producers.
