Callispa nigritarsata, is a species of leaf beetle found in Sri Lanka. [1] [2] [3]
The body length is about 4.50 to 5.00 mm, elongate, and brown. The eyes are oval and black. Antennae are black and about 1.60 to 1.75 mm long. The prothorax length is about 0.80 to 1.00 mm with a slightly curved anterior margin. The scutellum is oblong. The elytral length is about 3.55 to 3.75 mm. The elytra are oblong with ten rows of punctures at each elytron base. The hind wings, which are small and brown, are about 4.50 mm long. The legs are short and stout. The tarsi, femoral apex, and tibiae are black. The ventrum is brown. [4]
