Calvin Chong Ket Kiun is a Malaysian politician who has served as Member of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Elopura since May 2018. He is a member of Sabah Heritage Party (WARISAN) and was a member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP),a component party of Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalitions. [1]
On 20 January 2022,He and Sri Tanjong assemblyman Justin Wong Yung Bin and former senator Adrian Lasimbang quit DAP and joined WARISAN on 26 March. [2] [3]

Companion of the Order of Kinabalu (ASDK) (2018) [6] Datuk Linda Tsen Thau Lin is a Malaysian politician. She is the former Member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the Batu Sapi constituency in Sandakan,Sabah,representing the United Sabah Party (PBS) in the former ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition.
General elections were held in Malaysia on Wednesday,9 May 2018. At stake were all 222 seats in the Dewan Rakyat,the lower house of parliament. The 13th Parliament was dissolved by Prime Minister Najib Razak on 7 April 2018. It would have been automatically dissolved on 24 June 2018,five years after the first meeting of the first session of the 13th Parliament of Malaysia on 24 June 2013.
This is a list of the members of the Dewan Rakyat of the 13th Parliament of Malaysia. The opposition coalition Pakatan Rakyat that contested the general elections in 2013 was dissolved after series of disagreements between two main parties,Democratic Action Party (DAP) and Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS). A new opposition coalition Pakatan Harapan was formed by the DAP,People's Justice Party (PKR) and newly formed party National Trust Party (AMANAH),consisting of ex-PAS members. Several ex-UMNO members have also formed their own party Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU) and have signed an electoral pact with Pakatan Harapan to contest the future general election and ensure straight fights against Barisan Nasional. On 20 March 2017 BERSATU officially became a member of Pakatan Harapan.
The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) is a select committee of the House of Representatives in the Parliament of Malaysia. The PAC derives its powers from the Dewan Rakyat which chooses the committee chairperson and deputy chairperson. Based on Standing Order 77(1),the PAC has the power to examine the accounts of the Malaysian government,the accounts of all public authorities,the reports of the auditor-general,and any other matters that "the committee may think fit" or matters referred to the PAC by the Dewan Rakyat.
The Alliance of Hope is a Malaysian political coalition consisting of centre-left political parties which was formed in 2015 to succeed the Pakatan Rakyat coalition. It has been part of a "Unity Government" since November 2022 together with other political coalitions and parties as a result of the 2022 Malaysian general election,and previously for 22 months after it had won the 2018 Malaysian general election until February 2020 when it lost power as a result of the 2020 Malaysian political crisis at the federal level. The coalition deposed the Barisan Nasional coalition government during the 2018 election,ending its 60-year-long reign since independence.

Phoong Jin Zhe also known as Ginger Phoong is a Malaysian politician who has served as the State Minister of Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship of Sabah in the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) state administration under Chief Minister Hajiji Noor since February 2023 and Member of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Luyang since May 2018. He served as the State Minister of Industrial Development of Sabah in the GRS state administration under Chief Minister Hajiji from January 2023 to February 2023,State Minister of Youth and Sports of Sabah in the Heritage Party (WARISAN) administration under former Chief Minister Shafie Apdal from May 2019 to the collapse of the WARISAN administration in September 2020. He is a member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP),a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition. He is also the Youth Chief of DAP of Sabah or known as Chief of the DAP Socialist Youth,the youth wing of the party,of Sabah.
Jannie Lasimbang is a Malaysian politician who has served as Chairperson of the Rural Development Corporation (KPD) of Sabah since February 2023 and Member of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Kapayan since May 2018. She served as the State Assistant Minister of Law and Native Affairs of Sabah in the Heritage Party (WARISAN) state administration under former Chief Minister Shafie Apdal and former Minister from May 2018 to the collapse of the WARISAN state administration in September 2020. She is a member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP),a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition. She has also served as the International Secretary of DAP since March 2022. She is also the sister of Jennifer Lasimbang,former State Assistant Minister of Education and Innovation of Sabah and former MLA for Moyog.
Datuk Frankie Poon Ming Fung is a Malaysian politician who has served as Chairman of the Sabah Development Berhad (SDB) since January 2023 and Member of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Tanjong Papat since May 2018. He served as the State Minister of People's Health and Wellbeing of Sabah in the Heritage Party (WARISAN) state administration from May 2019 to the collapse of the WARISAN state administration in September 2020 and the State Minister of Youth and Sports of Sabah from May 2018 to May 2019. He is a member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP),a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition. He has served as the State Chairman of DAP of Sabah since March 2019,in acting capacity from March 2019 to November 2021 and in official capacity since November 2021.

He served as the State Assistant Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries of Sabah in the GRS state administration under Hajiji and Minister Jeffrey Kitingan from October 2020 to his promotion to full ministership of a different portfolio in January 2023. He is a member of the Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (GAGASAN),a major component party of the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) coalition and was formerly a member of the United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (UPKO).
The 16th Sabah State Legislative Assembly is the current term of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly,the legislative branch of the Government of Sabah in Sabah,Malaysia. The 16th Assembly consists of 79 members that 73 members were elected in the 2020 Sabah election and 6 members were nominated by the Government and is serving from 26 October 2020 until the next state election.
