Casting for the third season started late 2021 [3] and the twelve contestants were announced on June 15, 2022. [4]
The winner of the third season of Canada’s Drag Race was Gisèle Lullaby, with Jada Shada Hudson as runner-up. Vivian Vanderpuss was named Miss Congeniality, although her win was announced by the producers on the show's social media channels rather than in the finale episode.
Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II on September 8, 2022, the broadcast of the finale was delayed in the United Kingdom during the period of national mourning.

For the final challenge of the season, the queens will have to write and record their own verse for and perform to "True North Strong and Fierce". They will also have to do a photoshoot with Season 2's winner Icesis Couture. The queens walk the runway one last time in their Coronation Eleganza. The eliminated queens return and walk the runway one last time as well. After the runway, it is announced that Kimmy Couture and Miss Fiercalicious are eliminated, leaving Giséle Lullaby and Jada Shada Hudson as the final two. They lip-sync to "A New Day Has Come (Radio Remix)" by Céline Dion. It is announced that Giséle Lullaby is the winner, leaving Jada Shada Hudson as the runner-up.

RuPaul's Drag Race is an American reality competition television series, the first in the Drag Race franchise, produced by World of Wonder for Logo TV, WOW Presents Plus, VH1 and, beginning with the fifteenth season, MTV. The show documents RuPaul in the search for "America's next drag superstar". RuPaul plays the role of host, mentor, and head judge for this series, as contestants are given different challenges each week. Contestants are judged by a panel that includes RuPaul, Michelle Visage, one of three rotating judges, as well as one or more guest judges, who critique their progress throughout the competition. The title of the show is a play on drag queen and drag racing, and the title sequence and song "Drag Race" both have a drag-racing theme.
The tenth season of RuPaul's Drag Race began airing on March 22, 2018, on VH1. The premiere was broadcast one week after the finale of the third season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars, and episodes are to be followed by RuPaul's Drag Race: Untucked. Contestants were officially announced on February 22, 2018, in a teaser trailer during an episode of All Stars 3 later followed by a special "Meet the Queens" live-stream on Facebook, hosted by season nine winner, Sasha Velour. This season saw the return of season 9 contestant Eureka O'Hara who was removed from her original season after tearing her ACL. The prizes for the winner of this season include a one-year supply of Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics and a cash prize of $100,000. This is the first season in which each episode was 90 minutes long.
The eleventh season of RuPaul's Drag Race aired on VH1 from February 28, 2019, to May 30, 2019. Brooke Lynn Hytes is the stage name of Brock Edward Hayhoe, a Canadian-American drag queen, ballet dancer, and television personality. After working as a dancer with Cape Town City Ballet and Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, Brooke Lynn Hytes achieved international recognition for competing on the eleventh season of RuPaul's Drag Race; Brooke Lynn Hytes placed second, only to winner Yvie Oddly. Brooke Lynn Hytes is the first Canadian to compete in the series. Since 2020, Brooke Lynn Hytes has been a main judge on the spin-off series Canada's Drag Race, and is the first Drag Race contestant to become a full-time judge in the franchise.
