Candy Go!Go! was a Japanese idol girl group that formed in 2010 and disbanded in 2024.

History

Candy Go!Go! was formed in July 2010. [1] They made their major label debut with the single, "Kamisama no Ijiwaru", in October 2014. [2] Their second single, "Ari no Mama, Omou Mama ni Hashire!", was released in May 2015. [3] In 2016, they released two singles: "Overdrive / Taisetsu na Oshirase" in January, and "Wanchan Summer / Endroll" in August. [4] Their major label debut album, Idorock, was released in December 2016. In June 2017, their fifth single, "Candy", was released. [5] The EP, Idorock -Beyond-, featuring their fifth and sixth singles: "Candy" and "Fake News", was released in June 2019. [6] Their seventh single, "The Last of Days", was release in December 2019. [7] In 2020 they released two singles: "Infinity" in July, [8] and "Since 2010~" in December. [9] Their tenth single, "Understeer", was released in July 2021. [10] The group's final single, "In The Game / Brave Venus", was released in April 2022. Candy Go!Go! released their final album, Idorock -Legacy-, in November 2023. [11] On April 8, 2024, Candy Go!Go! disbanded after their final concert. [12]

Mameshiba no Taigun (豆柴の大群), stylized as MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN, was a Japanese alternative idol girl group formed through the reality survival show Monster Idol which featured on TBS Television's variety show Wednesday's Downtown in 2019. They debuted on December 19, 2019, with "Restart". They ceased activities as Mameshiba no Taigun in January 2024 after merging with Tonai Bousho to form Mameshiba no Taigun Tonai Bousho a.k.a. MonsterIdol. In January 2025, Mameshiba no Taigun resumed activities.

Yoasobi is a Japanese pop duo formed in 2019. It consists of musician and record producer Ayase and singer-songwriter Lilas Ikuta, under the moniker Ikura. With the slogan "novel into music", the duo originally released songs based on selected short stories posted on Monogatary.com, a social media website for creative writing operated by Sony Music Entertainment Japan. ZOCX, formerly known as ZOC and Metamuse, is a Japanese alternative idol co-ed group that formed in September 2018. Originally a girl group, they released their debut single, "Family Name", on April 30, 2019. On July 7, 2022, the group changed its name to Metamuse, before reverting back to ZOC on November 11, 2023. ZOC suspended group activities at the end of March 2024. On January 1, 2025, the group re-formed as ZOCX and became a co-ed group.

Last Idol was a Japanese idol girl group that formed in 2017 through a music competition show of the same name and disbanded in 2022 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. A reboot of the group, named Shinsei Last Idol (新生ラストアイドル) began activities in September 2023 and was later renamed My Fav.

Tonai Bousho was a Japanese alternative idol girl group formed through the reality survival show Monster Love which featured on TBS Television's variety show Wednesday's Downtown in 2022. Ihojin is a song written and composed by Saki Kubota, and first performed by her. The song was first released as a single on 1 October 1979. That recording sold more than 1.4 million copies and reached number 1 in the Japanese singles chart. The song was used in the "Silk Road" television commercial for Sanyo.

Candy Tune is a Japanese girl group that formed in 2023. They debuted with their eponymous digital album in March 2023.

<i>Under Blue</i> 2024 album by Eve

Under Blue is the fourth major studio album by Japanese singer Eve. It was released on November 27, 2024, through Toy's Factory. The album consists of nineteen tracks, twelve of which were released prior to the release of the album. Under Blue debuted and peaked at number 5 on both the Oricon Albums Chart and Billboard Japan Hot Albums chart.
