Canton of Bourg-de-Péage

The canton of Bourg-de-Péage is an administrative division of the Drôme department, southeastern France. Its borders were modified at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Bourg-de-Péage.^[1]

In 2008, after his election as senator, he had resigned his post as mayor of the commune of Bourg-de-Péage, which is the chef-lieu of the canton of the same name, represented by Guillaume in the General Council. He was a member of the Socialist Party until 2018 and was Vice-President of the Socialist Group in the Senate. He was vice-president of the Senate from 2011-2014.

It was disbanded following the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. It consisted of 16 communes, which joined the canton of Nyons et Baronnies in 2015.

Communauté d'agglomération Valence Romans Agglo is the communauté d'agglomération, an intercommunal structure, centred on the cities of Valence and Romans-sur-Isère. It is located in the Drôme department, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, southeastern France. It was created in January 2017 by the merger of the former Communauté d'agglomération Valence-Romans Sud Rhône-Alpes and the Communauté de communes de la Raye. Its population was 212,855 in 2014, of which 64,057 in Valence and 34,243 in Romans-sur-Isère. Its seat is in Alixan.
