The canton of Crest is an administrative division of the Drôme department, southeastern France. It was created at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Crest. [1]

Drôme is a department in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes named after the Drôme River.

The Drôme, a river in southeastern France, has a length of 111 km and a watershed of 1,663 km² and is a left tributary of the Rhône. Its source is in the western foothills of the Alps, near the village Valdrôme. It flows into the Rhône near Loriol-sur-Drôme, between Valence and Montélimar.
