These 11 subspecies belong to the species Carabus arcensis:
Carabus is a genus of beetles in family Carabidae. The genus is highly diverse with 94 subgenera, 959 species and 2300 subspecies, thus is the largest genus in the subfamily Carabinae. The vast majority are native to the Palearctic, but 16 Nearctic species are also known. Carabus spp. are 12–50 mm (0.47–1.97 in) long, and most species are wingless and often very colourful. These are nocturnal, predatory beetles that feed on snails, earthworms, and caterpillars. Most Carabus species were thought to have inhabited the Eurasian forest, but the species' low dispersal abilities altered the distribution of lineages within the genus.
Calosoma is a genus of large ground beetles that occur primarily throughout the Northern Hemisphere, and are referred to as caterpillar hunters or caterpillar searchers. Many of the 167 species are largely or entirely black, but some have bright metallic coloration. They produce a foul-smelling spray from glands near the tip of the abdomen. They are recognizable due to their large thorax, which is almost the size of their abdomen and much wider than their head.
Carabus linnei is a species of ground beetle in the family Carabidae. It is found in Europe.
Patrobus is a genus of ground beetles in the family Carabidae. There are more than 20 described species in Patrobus.

Carabus hummelii is a species of ground beetle in the family Carabidae. It is found in China, North Korea, Russia, and Mongolia.

Carabus regalis is a species of beetle from the family Carabidae, found in Mongolia and Russia.
Carabus rothii is a species of ground beetle in the family Carabidae. It is found in Eastern Europe.
Carabus bessarabicus concretus is a subspecies of ground beetle in the family Carabidae that can be found in Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine. They are blackish-gray coloured.
Carabus hummeli hummeli is a subspecies of ground beetle from family Carabidae, found in Mongolia and Russia. They are black coloured with blue pronotum. The male size of the subspecies is 26 millimetres (1.0 in), while their females are 27 millimetres (1.1 in) in length. Some males can be as small as 23 millimetres (0.91 in).
Calosoma panderi is a species of ground beetle in the family Carabidae. It is found in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia.
Zabrus (Pelor) spinipes is a species of ground beetle belonging to the family Carabidae, genus Zabrus, subgenus Pelor.
Carabus maeander is a species of beetle in the family Carabidae. The species fly in May and June, are black in colour and 15 to 23.5 millimetres long.
