Carmen Electra is the debut studio album by American actress/singer Carmen Electra, released in 1993.
The album was a project designed by the American singer Prince to promote Electra, his latest protégée at the time, as a sexy female rapper. The album features music written by Prince with some input by band member Levi Seacer Jr. Lyrics were provided by Prince, along with Seacer, The New Power Generation rapper Tony M. and female rapper Monie Love.

Three singles were released from the album: "Go-Go Dancer", "Everybody Get on Up", and "Fantasia Erotica". The album was not well received and effectively ended Electra's recording career. In interviews, she has pointed out that during the time of the album's release, Prince was having problems with his label, which could have contributed to its failure.

Dancers Lori Werner and Robia LaMorte, known as "Diamond" and "Pearl" respectively, appeared on the holographic cover. "Sexy MF" is a song by American musician Prince and the New Power Generation, released as a single from their 1992 album Love Symbol. The music and most of the lyrics were composed by Prince, while Levi Seacer Jr. came up with the chorus and the song's title. Tony M. also delivers a rap, which he wrote. The song and its refrain "You sexy motherfucker" caused some controversy, and edited versions were produced for radio, the music video and the US version of the album. The song was recorded in Paisley Park's Studio A in December 1991.
Shine: The Hits is the first compilation album by Christian pop rock group Newsboys. It was released in 2000, spanning recordings from 1988 to 1998. Exclusive to the set were three new songs, an update of their 1996 hit "God Is Not a Secret", featuring dc Talk's TobyMac, a remix of their hit "Shine", and an eight-minute "Mega-Mix" of several of their biggest hits. Also included is an extended version of "I'm Not Ashamed", which differs from the original album version.

Like several of his then-recent tours, Prince chose not to tour the United States, the exception being the Lovesexy Tour in 1988. It would be 1993's Act I Tour before Prince did a full tour of the United States.

In Love's native UK, the single went to #18, as well as charting on the Dutch and German music charts. On the US charts, it only peaked at #56 on the soul chart and #89 on the Hot 100. On the US dance chart, "Born 2 B.R.E.E.D." was Monie Love's most successful of four releases, reaching #1 for one week. In Australia, it peaked at #98 on the ARIA singles chart in May 1993.
