Carol Galea (born 24 October 1962) is a retired Maltese long-distance runner. [2] She represented her country at two Olympic Games, in 1992 and 1996, as well as the 1995 World Championships.
Galea still holds national records in multiple events.

Elizabeth Nuttall is a Scottish former middle- and long-distance runner. She won the gold medal in the 10,000 metres at the 1991 World Championships and a silver over the same distance at the 1988 Olympic Games. McColgan earned a silver in the 3000 metres at the 1989 World Indoor Championships. She was a two-time gold medalist in the event at the Commonwealth Games, 1992 World Half Marathon champion and a two-time individual medallist at the World Cross Country Championships. She claimed three victories at the World Marathon Majors: at the 1991 New York City Marathon, 1992 Tokyo Marathon and 1996 London Marathon.
Sonia O'Sullivan is an Irish former track and field athlete. She won a gold medal in the 5000 metres at the 1995 World Championships, and a silver medal in the 5000 metres at the 2000 Olympic Games. Her 2000 m world record of 5:25.36, set in 1994 stood until 2017.
Ejegayehu Dibaba Keneni ; born 21 March 1982, in Bekoji) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner. She won the silver medal in the 10,000 metres at the 2004 Athens Olympics. Ejegayehu earned bronze medals for the 5000 metres and 10,000 m at the 2005 World Championships in Athletics. She took gold medals in the 10,000 m at the 2003 Afro-Asian Games and All-Africa Games.

Thomas "Tom" Christopher Buckner is an English former long-distance runner who finished fifth at the 1994 Commonwealth Games in Victoria, British Columbia,Canada, and reached the semifinals in the Barcelona Olympics as well as winning the Amateur Athletic Association steeplechase on two occasions. He also represented Great Britain at the 1993 World Championships in Athletics. He ran the mile in 3.43 but this was downhill in Sheffield but did break the 4 minute barrier legally in Portsmouth running 3.58.8. He is the younger brother of Jack Buckner who was also an international athlete as was his sister Ruth. The brothers hold the record as the fastest brother milers ever in GB, 7th all time in the world. All 3 of the Buckners attended Worksop College, a public school located in North Nottinghamshire.
Mathias Ntawulikura is a retired Rwandan long-distance runner. He reached the World Athletics Championships final and participated in the Olympic Games in the 5000 metres (1988) and 10,000 metres and marathon. He also participated five times in the IAAF World Cross Country Championships.
