Carola Zirzow (born 15 September 1954, in Prenzlau) is an East German sprint canoer who competed in the mid-1970s. She won two medals at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal with a gold in the K-1 500 m and a bronze in the K-2 500 m events. [1]

Zirzow also won three gold medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with one in the K-2 500 m event (1975) and two in the K-4 500 m (1974, 1975).

He won two bronze medals at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London, earning them in the K-2 1000 m and K-2 10000 m events. He was born in Helsinki. Axelsson also won a gold medal in the K-2 500 m event at the 1948 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships in London. Note that the K-2 500 m event did not become an official event at the Summer Olympics until the 1976 Games in Montreal. The event has been on the Olympic program since then.

Luis Gregorio Ramos Misioné is a Spanish sprint canoeist who competed from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s. Competing in three Summer Olympics, he won two medals with one silvers and one bronze.

Lange also won two medals at the 1958 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships in Prague with a gold in the K-1 4 × 500 m and a bronze in the K-2 500 m events. He was born in Oberhausen.

In 1976, she was displaced by fellow SC Neubrandenburg club member Carola Zirzow in the K-1. The Olympic nomination for the K-2 went to the world champions, Bärbel Köster and Zirzow. Ohde thus went to the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal as a canoeing reserve and did not compete. Ohde finished her active career after the Montreal Olympics.

Katalin Povázsán is a Hungarian sprint canoeist who competed in the 1980s. She won five medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with a gold, three silvers, and a bronze.

Viktoria "Vicki" Schwarz is an Austrian sprint canoer who has competed since the mid-2000s. She has won three medals in the K-2 500 m event at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships, a gold in 2011, a silver in 2005 and a bronze in 2010. The silver medal was won with Petra Schlitzer, while the gold and bronze were won with Yvonne Schuring.

Bettina Müller is an East German sprint canoer who competed in the early to mid-1970s. She won two medals in the K-4 500 m event at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with a gold in 1975 and a bronze in 1971.
