Carolyn DeHoff (born November 7, 1967) is an American former college basketball coach. DeHoff is the former women's basketball coach for North Dakota State University. DeHoff is a graduate of Arizona State University.

Minot State University is a public university in Minot, North Dakota. Founded in 1913 as a normal school, Minot State University is the third-largest university in North Dakota, offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
Dean Edwards Smith was an American men's college basketball head coach. Called a "coaching legend" by the Basketball Hall of Fame, he coached for 36 years at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Smith coached from 1961 to 1997 and retired with 879 victories, which was the NCAA Division I men's basketball record at that time. Smith had the ninth-highest winning percentage of any men's college basketball coach (77.6%). During his tenure as head coach, North Carolina won two national championships and appeared in 11 Final Fours. Smith played college basketball at the University of Kansas, where he won a national championship in 1952 playing for Hall of fame coach Phog Allen.
McKinley Senior High School is a public high school in Canton, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Canton City School District and has two campuses: Downtown Campus, and the main campus which is known as McKinley Senior High School. Jeffrey Allen Boschee is an American former basketball player and current coach. He currently serves as head coach of the men's team at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Missouri. Boschee played guard at the University of Kansas from 1998 to 2002. He was named Mr. Basketball for North Dakota in 1998.
Brian Jones is an American college basketball coach. He is the associate head men's basketball coach at the Illinois State University. Jones is a graduate of University of Northern Iowa. Prior to North Dakota Jones was a longtime assistant on the coaching staffs of Steve Alford. While working with Alford, he participated in the four NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournaments, once with Southwest Missouri St. and three times with Iowa. Jones was named the 18th head coach of the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux basketball program on May 25, 2006. Under Jones' tenure at North Dakota, the University won back-to-back Great West Tournament championships in 2011 and 2012, and he led North Dakota to four consecutive appearances in the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament. In 2017, he led North Dakota to the NCAA Division I Tournament for the first time.
Paul Jones Davis was an American football and baseball player, coach of football, basketball, and baseball, and college athletic administrator. He served as the head football coach at Dickinson College (1908), Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College—now known as Oklahoma State University (1909–1914), North Dakota Agricultural College—now known as North Dakota State University (1915–1917), and University of North Dakota (1920–1924), and Mansfield State Teachers College—now known as Mansfield University of Pennsylvania. Davis was also the head basketball coach at Oklahoma A&M (1911–1915), North Dakota Agricultural (1915–1918), and North Dakota (1920–1924), amassing a career college basketball coaching mark of 112–44. In addition, he was the head baseball coach at Oklahoma A&M from 1909 to 1915, tallying a record of 54–40–1.
Randy R. Hedberg is an American football coach and a former player, currently the Associate Head Coach and Quarterbacks Coach at North Dakota State University in Fargo. Hedberg played as a quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFL in 1977. He was the head coach at Minot State University, his alma mater, from 1982 to 1989, and at St. Cloud State University from 1999 to 2007, compiling a career college football record of 92–74–2.
Ion John Cortright was an American football player and coach of football and basketball. He served as the head football coach at the University of South Dakota (1914–1915), the University of Cincinnati (1916), and North Dakota Agricultural College, now North Dakota State University, (1925–1927), compiling a career college football record of 22–20–6. Cortright was also the head basketball coach at South Dakota for one season in 1914–15, Cincinnati for one season in 1916–17, and North Dakota Agricultural for one season in 1925–26, tallying a career mark of 38–14.

The game's rosters featured the best and most highly recruited high school boys graduating in 2007. The game was the 29th annual version of the McDonald's All-American Game first played in 1978.

Charles Aaron "Jack" West was an American football, Canadian football, and basketball coach and college athletics administrator. He served as the head football coach at South Dakota State College of Agricultural and Mechanic Arts—now South Dakota State University—from 1919 to 1927 and at the University of North Dakota from 1928 to 1941 and again in 1945, compiling a career college football record of 134–55–14. West was also the head basketball coach at South Dakota State from 1919 to 1926 and at North Dakota during the 1944–45 season, amassing a career college basketball record of 74–66. He coached football teams to 11 North Central Conference titles, three at South Dakota State and eight at North Dakota. In addition, he served as North Dakota's athletic director from 1928 to 1946. West left the college ranks in 1946 to become head coach of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, then of the Western Interprovincial Football Union, now a division of the Canadian Football League. He died at the age of 67 on October 29, 1957 at his home in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
Craig Francis Smith is an American college basketball coach, currently the men's basketball head coach at Utah State University. A member of Tim Miles' coaching tree, Smith served as an assistant for Miles at four schools – Mayville State, North Dakota State, Colorado State, and Nebraska. Smith was also a highly successful head coach at Mayville State from 2004 to 2007.
The 2017–18 South Dakota Coyotes men's basketball team represented the University of South Dakota during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Coyotes, led by fourth-year head coach Craig Smith, played their home games at the Sanford Coyote Sports Center in Vermillion, South Dakota as members of the Summit League. They finished the season 26–9, 11–3 in Summit League play to finish in second place. They defeated Omaha and Denver to advance to the championship game of the Summit League where they lost to South Dakota State. They were invited to the College Basketball Invitational where they lost in the first round to North Texas.
Glenn LeRoy "Red" Jarrett was an American football and basketball coach. He served as the head football coach at the University of North Dakota in 1942 and from 1946 to 1948, compiling a record of 14–17. Jarret was also the head basketball coach at North Dakota in 1945–46 and from 1949 to 1951, tallying a mark of 39–26.
