Carolyn Wilson (born 11 March 1959) is a British former synchronised swimmer. She was the European solo champion in 1981, 1983 and 1985. She won 7 European Gold medals, and competed in the women's duet competition at the 1984 Summer Olympics gaining a 4th place. [1]

Wilson choreographed the synchronised swimming scenes in the Kenneth Branagh film Love's Labour's Lost (2000 film) and has appeared on a number of television programmes such as Jim'll Fix It, The Generation Game and How Do They Do That?. She was also one of the swimmers in the Carling Black Label UK TV advert "Lady of the Lake"

She retired from competitive synchronised swimming in August 1985. She is a life member of Rushmoor Synchronised Swimming Club. [2]

Wilson holds a BSc Hons degree in Botany & Zoology from Bristol University (1981), a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from Reading University and a First Class Master's degree with Distinction in Institutional Management & Leadership for Professional Development [3] from Southampton University (2007). She is currently Assistant Deputy Head & Head of Science at a school in Guildford, England.

Karin Larsen is a Canadian broadcaster and Olympic synchronised swimmer. She is currently a news and sports reporter for the Vancouver, British Columbia edition of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's evening news, CBC News at Six, for which she won a Leo Award in 1999. She competed in the 1988 Summer Olympics in synchronised swimming, was inducted into the BC Swimming Hall of Fame in 2001, and is the sister of Olympic silver medallist Christine Larsen.

Warrender Baths Club is a swimming club which originated at Warrender Baths in Edinburgh, Scotland, established in 1888. In 2013 the Club had 600 members with an active membership of 350 swimmers training at nine swimming pools across Edinburgh. Their swimmers compete in a wide range of international and national competitions including the Olympic and Commonwealth Games. Warrender has been called the premier swimming club in Scotland and claims to be one of the oldest, most successful swimming clubs in the UK.

Lara Teixeira is a Brazilian synchronized swimmer. She competed in the women's duet at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics and was part of the Brazilian team at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Her partner in 2008 and 2012 was Nayara Figueria. The team of Teixeira and Figueria were known for their innovative choreography and irreverent costumes. In total, Teixeira competed at 3 Olympic Games, 5 World Championships and 3 Pan American Games.

Teams perform a 3-minute technical routine of five technical elements and a 4-minute free routine that emphasises creativity and choreography.
