Cassyette is an English singer-songwriter. Described as "a modern alternative icon" (by Kerrang) "with a sound that calls to arms" (by MTV), Cassyette took the main stage at her festival debut at Download 2021, performing alongside headline slot Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes . In 2022, she toured Europe with Sum 41 and supported My Chemical Romance on their comeback tour. Most recently, as of 2024, she has been one of three acts supporting Bring Me the Horizon on their NX_GN WRLD TOUR.

Early life

Cassyette began her career as a DJ and songwriter. After university, she "became a staple on the London live circuit". [1]

Career

Songwriting for various artists and bands alongside her own music, Cassyette merges pop and rock inspired sounds with modern-day electronic pop. Cassyette's first solo debut, Push n Pull, was labelled "a seriously well-crafted, addictive gem that should underline Cassyette's reputation as not only one of London's most relevant new artists, but a consummate beat maker and songwriter" by Niji Magazine. [2]

Cassyette has most recently [ when? ] appeared at Download Pilot festival, [3] her festival debut, as well as making a guest appearance alongside Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes on their headlining slot. [4]

Cassyette co-wrote and performed backing vocals for "Doomsday Blue", the Irish entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, performed by Bambie Thug.

Rise to Remain was an English, London-based heavy metal band formed in 2006 and disbanded in 2015. Tigress are a British rock band from Chelmsford, England. They first performed together as the Hype Theory but reformed as Tigress in August 2015, abandoning their early songs. Tigress consists of vocalist Katy Jackson, guitarists Tom Harrison and Sean Bishop, bassist Jack Divey and drummer Josh Coombes. The band is currently signed to Humble Angel Records. They were previously signed to LAB Records where they released their debut EP Human on 13 November 2015, follow up EP Like It Is on 12 May 2017 and 2018 EP Who Cares. All three releases were met with much acclaim across a number of major and independent music publications.

Hot Milk is an English pop rock band based in Manchester. Formed in 2018 by singer/guitarists Hannah "Han" Mee and Jim Shaw, the group is known for their genre-blurring sound and for lyrics that often address social and political issues. Signed to the British indie label Music For Nations since 2021, they have released three EPs and released their debut studio album, A Call to the Void, on 25 August 2023. They have toured with acts including Foo Fighters and You Me at Six, appeared at Download Festival and Lollapalooza, and have received radio play from BBC Radio 1 and Kerrang! Radio. Additionally, they have been noted by Alternative Press as part of a new wave of artists in the Manchester music scene.
