The Badminton World Federation, aka BWF, is the international governing body for the sport of badminton approved by the International Olympic Committee. It was founded on 5 July 1934 as the International Badminton Federation with nine member nations: Canada, Denmark, England, France, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Scotland and Wales. In 1981, the IBF merged with the World Badminton Federation, and on 24 September 2006, at the Extraordinary General Meeting in Madrid, the name of the organization was changed to Badminton World Federation.

Céline Burkart is a Swiss badminton player. She competed at the 2015 and 2019 European Games. Burkart was a runner-up at the 2014 Slovak Open in the mixed doubles event partnered with Oliver Schaller, and later won the Swiss International tournament after beat the French pair. They were taken to three games, a match that saw them drop their first set of the tournament. They were steadied to take the match and the title 21–19 in the deciding set.
Oliver Schaller is a Swiss badminton player. He competed at the 2015 and 2019 European Games. Schaller won his first international title at the 2016 Swiss International in the mixed doubles event partnered with Céline Burkart.
Takuro Hoki is a Japanese badminton player affiliated with Tonami team. He was the men's doubles silver medalist at the 2019 World Championships and the men's doubles gold medalist at the 2021 World Championships, being first ever Japanese men's doubles to become world champions.
Tiffany Celine Ho is an Australian badminton player. She won the women's doubles title at the Oceania Championships in 2016 partnered with Jennifer Tam, and then crowned as the women's singles champion in 2024. She claimed her first international title at the Waikato International tournament in the women's doubles event. Ho was part of Australia team that won the Oceania Women's Team Championships in 2020 and 2024, and also the Oceania Mixed Team Championships in 2023.
Kong Hee-yong is a South Korean badminton player. In 2013, she won the mixed team gold at the BWF World Junior Championships. In 2014, Kong who was educated at the Daesung girls' high school competed at the Asian Junior Championships and won the silver medals in the mixed team and doubles event. She also play for the Jeonbuk Bank at the national event, and at the 2017 Japan Open, she became the runner-up in the women's doubles event partnered with Kim Ha-na. Together with Kim So-yeong, she was awarded as the 2019 BWF Most Improved Player of the Year.
Leong Jun Hao is a Malaysian badminton player. He was the boys' singles champion at the 2017 Asian Junior Championships. This achievement was followed by a silver medal at World Junior Championships.
