Central American Handball Championship

The Central American Handball Championship is the official competition for Men's and Women's national handball teams of Central America. In addition to crowning the Central American champions, the tournament also serves as a qualifying tournament for the Pan American Handball Championship.

The 2016 Central American Women's Handball Championship took place in Managua, Nicaragua from 22 to 26 November 2016. It acted as a qualifying tournament for the 2017 Pan American Women's Handball Championship.

The 2017 Pan American Women's Handball Championship was the 14th edition of the Pan American Women's Handball Championship, held in at the Sociedad Alemana de Gimnasia de Villa Ballester, in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina from 18 to 25 June 2017. It acted as American qualifying tournament for the 2017 World Women's Handball Championship. The event was originally set to be held in Toronto, Canada but the Canadian Handball Federation withdrew, citing lack of funds.

The Pan American Youth Beach Handball Championship was the official competition for men's and women's youth national beach handball teams of America. In addition to crowning the Pan American champions, the tournament also served as a qualifying tournament for the IHF Youth Beach Handball World Championship. Only two were held as in 2018, the PATHF disbanded and the tournaments were replaced with the North America & the Caribbean and South & Central American championships.

The 2017 Pan American Men's Junior Handball Championship the XII edition of this tournament took place in Asunción, Paraguay from 20 to 25 March 2017. It acts as a qualifying tournament for the 2017 Men's Junior World Handball Championship.

The 2023 Central American Men's Handball Championship took place in Managua, Nicaragua from 21 to 25 February. It acted as a qualifying tournament for the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games and the 2024 South and Central American Men's Handball Championship. The tournament was broadcast by Fanatiz.
